Welcome to our eleventh IDP Start & Sit article at Fantasy In Frames for the 2023 fantasy football season!

Whether you’re newer to IDP or have been playing for years, my goal of these starts and sits is to provide you with stud picks I’m a huge fan of each week, from your top-tier players to play in your shallow leagues down to deeper league options. However, with the good picks come the ones I am less high on that you should consider alternatives for each week.
Here are my IDP Fantasy Football Starts & Sits for Week 11 (2023).
Defensive Linemen
Starts
Travon Walker vs. Titans
- Walker has a solid matchup versus The Titans this week, who have had a rotation at Right Tackle, which has allowed for 17 pressures, 5 QB Hits, and 4 Sacks over the past three weeks.
- Look for Walker to take advantage of that this week.
Jonathan Greenard vs. Cardinals
- Since Week 8, Greenard has led the Texans in total pressures with 16 and four sacks.
- In fantasy, he’s been the DL8 with an average of 13.0 PPG in that time frame.
- While grading out as the best pass-blocker on The Cardinals, Kelvin Beachum has allowed four total pressures and has given up a sack since Week 8.
- Look for Greenard to overpower him this weekend with his 16.9% win rate versus offensive linemen over the past four weeks.
Harold Landry at Jaguars
- Averaging 12.3 PPG over the past three weeks, in Week 10, we saw Landry play a team-leading 81.5% of defensive snaps with a win and pressure rate of 15%.
- Lining up against Anton Harrison in Week 11, who since Week 8 has allowed five pressures, one QB Hit, and one Sack, and who is one of Jacksonville’s poorest offensive tackles per PFF, look for Landry to clean up this week.
Sit
George Karlaftis vs. Eagles
- This one was tough to recommend as a sit, BUT Karlaftis is going against one of the best offensive tackle tandems in the NFL, that of The Philadelphia Eagles; it’s hard to list him as a start this week.
- Sit him and use one of my start recommendations from above.
Nik Bonitto vs. Vikings
- With Baron Browning returning to the lineup, we’ve seen Nik Bonitto’s snap percentage drop dramatically to the point where he is unstartable despite his high-pressure rate and win rate.
- Since Week 8, he has only averaged 2.3 FantasyPros IDP points.
Montez Sweat at Lions
- As anticipated, once Sweat left the comfort of having elite defensive linemen all around him, being the primary focal point on the Bears defensive line, Sweat didn’t produce much in Week 10, logging just three QB hits.
- Now facing one of the best offensive offensive tackles in football in not allowing pressures, look for Sweat to have another down week in Detroit.
Linebackers
Start
Jack Sanborn at Lions
- Since Week 8, Sanborn has put up solid fantasy LB2 numbers in relief of Tremaine Edmunds.
- Per RPO Football, Detroit is allowing the 6th most tackles to linebackers on the season, giving Sanborn and TJ Edwards an elevated tackle and fantasy floor this week.
Ivan Pace, Jr. at Broncos
- With Jordan Hicks on IR, Ivan Pace, Jr will look to be the main linebacker for Minnesota since The Vikings have preferred to roll with a three-safety rotation for the majority of the season.
- In his two starts next to Hicks earlier in the season, Pace averaged eight total tackles a game and 11.2 PPG, and that was with not playing much on third/fourth down.
- With his every-down role all buy assured going forward, look for the rookie to have all the opportunity to raise that tackle and fantasy point floor this week versus The Broncos.
Elandon Roberts at Cleveland
- While his missed tackle rate has increased some since taking on more snaps at linebacker in recent weeks (which was to be expected), Roberts has still is the leader of the pack in terms of snap volume and tackle production, which has culminated in an LB19 rankings with a 13.4 PPG average in FantasyPros IDP scoring. Not to mention, in games where snaps haven’t been on his side, he’s still been efficient enough to remain fantasy-viable.
- Going against a run-heavy Cleveland team, look for the tackles to fall into his lap on Sunday.
Sit
Nicholas Morrow at Chiefs
- Over the past month, it’s been Zach Cunningham for The Eagles at linebacker who has been more productive in tackles as well as in tackle efficiency and snap opportunities.
- Based on snaps and efficiency, I’m rolling with Cunningham in this Monday Night Football matchup in Kansas City. Sit Morrow this week.
Drue Tranquill vs. Eagles
- With another week to get healthy, look for Willie Gay to reassume his role as WLB and Leo Chenal as MLB, making Tranquill’s snap % take a hit, thus making him a fade for me this week.
Divine Deablo at Dolphins
- Robert Spillane is the only linebacker for The Raiders you want to start in fantasy.
- In back-to-back weeks, Deablo has split too much time with other linebackers like Amari Burney and Jaylon Smith…..yuck.
Defensive Backs
Start
Talanoa Hufanga vs. Buccaneers
- Over the past four weeks, we’ve seen Hufanga reassert himself as the primary Box Safety for the San Francisco 49ers, which has helped to make him the DB9 in FantasyPros IDP scoring during that time frame, with an average of 13.7 PPG.
- Now, while Tampa Bay isn’t exactly known for being a powering running team, instead being more of a “get their running backs open on screen plays” type of running game, Hufanga still does play a decent amount at Free Safety and Slot Corner which should allow him to maintain a solid enough tackle efficiency rate while playing in coverage to compensate for any lack of snaps in the box on Sunday.
Jason Pinnock at Commanders
- While he HAS been playing Free Safety a majority of the season, the last time Jason Pinnock faced the Commanders, he did have a 14 to 21 box snap count versus Xavier McKinney, which he turned into a six total tackle, one sack performance for 14.0 FantasyPros IDP points.
- I anticipate the same type of strategy in terms of usage with him this week.
Keanu Neal at Browns
- In the past two weeks, we’ve seen Keanu Neal finish as the DB22 overall with an 11.5 PPG average, playing a majority of his time closer to the line of scrimmage.
- Against a Cleveland team that will be relying on their running game to keep them competitive in this game, Neal should see a healthy dose of work and, thus, should have a high tackle floor in Week 11.
Sit
Markquese Bell at Panthers
- Going from an 83.5% defensive back snap share average the past two weeks to a 39.8% defensive snap share in Week 10 is not a good sign for Bell.
- With Rashaan Evans seemingly taking over that LB2 spot in Dallas, Bell’s dual-eligibility at LB/DB “cheat code” status is basically null and void.
Jonathan Owens vs. Chargers
- With Rudy Ford returning to the lineup last week versus the Steelers, we still saw both he and Jonathan Owens maintain a similar amount of box snaps, making them both Top 30 DBs in FantasyPros IDP scoring. My thought process for this is that GB was just working Ford back into a full-time role at the position, thus giving Owens more snaps closers to the line of scrimmage.
- I see that being less of a case in Week 11 versus The Chargers, thus making Owens more of a DB4 value this week.
