We’ve Entered The Double-Digits

Whew….thank God my #4EYEDhangover from week 9 is finally over…..that was a rough week.

We’re moving onward and upward, and right in front of us are the double-digit weeks of the regular season. These last four weeks will determine who secures their first-round bye-weeks, who earns the final fantasy playoff spot, and, ultimately, who does not get into the fantasy playoffs. #SadEmoji

Now is not the time to start freaking OUT, NOW is the time to start zoning IN. Any emotional attachment you had to a player needs to exit your mind right now! Details matter. Having said that I know details can have a way of paralyzing one’s mind, paralysis by analysis they call it. Overthinking is probably the number one thing that separates those who make the playoffs and from those who don’t.

Fortunately, myself and the rest of us here at Fantasy In Frames are here for YOU!

Below a list of players that I’m convinced will help lead you to victory this week! If you see them on your waiver-wire go pick them up and start them. For one in particular, if you can acquire him via trade, DO SO. You’ll know who I’m talking about when I get to him.

Here are my 4-EYED PREVIEWS for Week 10

Quarterback: I told you to keep 4-EYES on Ryan Tannehill.

Since taking over as the starter in Tennessee, Ryan Tannehill has averaged 20.5 fantasy points, 2 passing touchdowns, and 278.7 passing yards per game. BRUH.

Back in week 7, in my weekly 4-EYED OBSERVATION article, I mentioned that you should keep tabs on Tannehill in the coming weeks to see if he could become a viable streaming option for you. Three weeks later I can safely say that he IS and that you should definitely use him THIS week as the Titans clash with the Chiefs, who according to PFF, rank 19th in pass coverage and 27th in pass rushing. This means that Tannehill will have all day to exploit a weak Kansas City secondary that has given up 20 points per week to the QB position this season (per FantasyPros). Plug him in this week!

Running Back: Devin Singletary is about to wreck some leagues!

So SHOCKER, this is the player you will more than likely have to acquire via trade. In his first full game as the starter Devin Singletary led the Bills backfield with 20 attempts for 95 yards, 1 TD, 3 receptions for 45 yards, and 21.5 fantasy points. In week 10, he faces a Browns team that has allowed 20.5 fantasy points to opposing running backs and ranks 30th in run defense. Singletary is a dynamic running back that can carry you from here throughout the fantasy playoffs. Use him or acquire him QUICK!

Wide Receiver: Just like units of pressure in Physics, Zach Pascal is about to exert pressure on some poor defender this week.

With T.Y. Hilton out of commission for the next few weeks, Zach Pascal will look to take over the reigns of the receiving corps in Indy as they take on the Dolphins this week. Having the 5th best WR/CB matchup in week 10, according to PFF, Pascal will look to build off of his 11.33 fantasy points per games over the past 4 games played in this prime matchup. The target volume should be there and targeted 6 or more times during a game this season he’s averaged 17 pts per game. If Jacoby Brissett suits up at QB this weekend insert Pascal into your lineups!

Tight End: Your time is up, Gerald Everett’s time is NOW!

With a chunk of targets now being vacated in the receiving game due to Brandon Cooks and his concussion injury, Gerald Everett will look to absorb those targets this week as the Rams lock horns with the Steelers. Everett has the 7th best tight end matchup this week going against a Steelers defense that’s giving up 8.8 fantasy points per game to the position. With the tight end position being as thing as it is are you REALLY going to pass up on such a viable streaming option?

IDP OF THE WEEK

Defensive Back: Taylor Rapp has been building a GOOD rapp in recent weeks.

Since taking over for John Johnson III, Taylor Rapp has been performing quite well posting 18 solo tackles in 3 games. Strong safeties are always the first group of defensive backs you target when needing to fill a positional void on your roster and going against a run-heavy offense like the Steelers, Rapp should have another good showing this week!
