Here we go with our Waiver Wire Targets for Week 11 for the 2021 fantasy football season. Find out who you should go after below!
Week 11 brings us a week where some instant start wide receivers might still be available in your league as well as a deep, dark injury hole in which to get lost in Northern Georgia.
As always I will be focusing on players at less than a 50% rostered rate in consensus numbers in ESPN and Yahoo leagues compiled by Fantasy Pros.
Quarterback Streamers
Justin Fields, Chicago Bears, Consensus Roster Percentage 21.8%, Week 11 matchup vs Ravens
Justin Fields is starting to find his groove in this Chicago offense after either throwing for 300 (okay 291) or running for 100 in each of the previous two weeks. Fields gets the opportunity to go up against a struggling and banged up Ravens defense after coming off a bye.
Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins, Consensus Roster Percentage 29.6%, Week 11 matchup at Jets
I think at this point Brian Flores has had to accept that the Dolphins offense runs better with Tua under center, and after saving them last week against the Ravens Tua is clearly healthy enough to start. The Miami offensive line has displayed a complete inability to run block and their running backs are not going to make something out of nothing so this team is going to be forced to rely on Tua’s arm and legs to get them a win over the Jets.
Mac Jones, New England Patriots, Consensus Roster Percentage 21.0%, Week 11 Matchup at Falcons
Mac played out of his mind last week against the Browns. He likely will not have a blowup game with the way the New England running game has been performing but Mac has a great matchup against the Falcons and the Patriots will be able to run to pass on Sunday.
Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers, Consensus Roster Percentage 14.2%, Week 11 Matchup vs Washington Football Team
Superman is back in Carolina and already has the best wide receiving corps of his entire career. Washington just lost Chase Young for the season which will decrease the effectiveness of an already underperforming defense. Look for Cam to get back in the end zone again this week after accounting for two touchdowns last week on only 12% of snaps.
Running Backs
Wayne Gallman, Atlanta Falcons, Consensus Roster Percentage 0.8%
This is the aforementioned deep dark injury hole in Northern Georgia. Cordarrelle Patterson looks like he will miss a couple weeks with a sprained ankle and it was Gallman who received all of the rushing work after he went down and not Mike Davis. It could have had something to do with the blowout but I suspect Arthur Smith has realized that every time he gives Mike Davis the ball it is a play he will never get back.
Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots, Consensus Roster Percentage 21.0%
This one is a tough call because Bill Belichick gives zero you know what’s about your fantasy teams, but Stevenson has been forcing himself into that ground game and after his performance against Cleveland I feel confident saying he will have some kind of a role going forward.

Ty Johnson, New York Jets, Consensus Roster Percentage 18.3%
Telling you to pickup the number 2 running back on a bad team is tough, but when a guy is averaging 6 targets a game as a running back it is hard to ignore. He will not be filling your RB2 role but as a weekly flex fill in Ty Johnson giving you 10ish points will ne a nice baseline for your roster
D’Onta Foreman, Tennessee Titans, Consensus Roster Percentage 2.3%
This is a tough call, but Foreman has worked his way up from a 21% snap share to a a 35% snap share surpassing Adrian Peterson last week. This running game isn’t going to have a lot of juice, but if this team can rely on foreman to run the ball and play a role in the receiving game he should be a nice add to your roster.
Speculative adds for potential injury
- Sony Michel
- Alexander Mattison
- Khalil Herbert
- Jordan Howard
- Howard has been a big part of this run game the last two weeks and would have been a nice start, however with Miles Sanders returning and this Eagles RBBC being an absolute mess for fantasy I cannot recommend going out and dropping a lot of FAB on Howard. However, if they lose another back to injury Howard should have a nice role to fill.

Wide Receivers
Rashod Bateman, Baltimore Ravens, Consensus Roster Percentage 41.3%
Bateman has played 4 games since returning from injury and has looked increasingly impressive in each successive game. The past two weeks he has received 8 targets from a vastly improved Lamar Jackson. Bateman isn’t just looking like a nice add to your roster but I personally have been starting him each of the past two weeks.
Darnell Mooney, Chicago Bears, Consensus Roster Percentage 45.9%
Darnell Mooney has officially taken over as the WR1 in this offense and is currently the WR36 on the year in half PPR after averaging only 5.4 points per game the first three weeks of the season. Grab Mooney if he is available and start him.
Van Jefferson, Los Angeles Rams, Consensus Roster Percentage 46.6%
This feels a little dirty after watching Van Jefferson drop multiple passes, including a perfect touchdown pass, Monday night against the 49ers. However the Rams do have some confidence in him and should continue to see a role in this offense even as Odell Beckham receives more snaps.
Elijah Moore, New York Jets, Consensus Roster Percentage 43.7%
I along with a lot of other people in the dynasty fantasy community have been waiting to recommend Elijah Moore as a pickup and start and that time has finally arrived. The past 4 weeks Moore has averaged 6.5 targets per game and has become a very important part of this Jets offense. As long as Zach Wilson isn’t starting at QB for the Jets I will be starting Moore going forward.

Players to drop
- Robert Woods
- Julio Jones
Tight Ends
Dan Arnold, Jacksonville Jaguars, Consensus Roster Percentage 26.1%
It’s time to start discussing Dan Arnold as an every week start for the Jags. In his past 5 games played he has averaged 7.4 targets per game and is playing nearly 70% of snaps or more every single week. If you are hurting at the tight end position and Arnold is still available he should be capable of being an every week start for you for the rest of the season.
Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears, Consensus Roster Percentage 14.6%
Kmet has come along nicely this year, even being praised (which is rare) by Head Coach Matt Nagy as having taken the next step. He was able to lead the Bears in receiving in week 9 against the Steelers and has seen 5 or more targets for the past 4 weeks. Kmet is a nice bye week fill in and might be capable of starting for you rest of season if you are in a pinch.

Gerald Everett, Seattle Seahawks, Consensus Roster Percentage 11.7%
Everett was a big part of the game plan as the Seahawks were shut out against the Packers. He should continue to be a part of the game plan as long as Russell Wilson is playing hurt and is having trouble getting the ball down the field. He will be capable of being a bye week fill in for you week 11 against the Cardinals.
Tyler Conklin, Minnesota Vikings, Consensus Roster Percentage 34.8%
Conklin has been targeted consistently all season and finally got in the end zone for the first time since week 3. Conklin won’t be a reliable weekly plug in but is a nice pivot if you have something go wrong at the tight end position with his weekly end zone opportunity.
Players to drop
- Unless you’re streaming tight end of dealing with injury I wouldn’t concern yourself with any of these guys except for Arnold.
Defense/Special Teams
Carolina Panthers, Consensus Roster Percentage 38.6%, Week 11 Matchup vs Washington Football Team
The Panthers defense has been elite for much of this season and with CMC back in the fold and having what I believe to be at the very least a competent QB in Cam Newton, they should have the opportunity to bring Taylor Heinicke and the Washington Football team hurdling back into the atmosphere after their strange defeat of the Super Bowl Champion Buccaneers.
Los Angeles Chargers, Consensus Roster Percentage 14.1%, Week 11 Matchup Vs Steelers
Roethelisberger did the right thing and self reported symptoms of Covid last week. However him actually being symptomatic could very well mean he misses another week. That in turn would mean we get to see Mason Rudolph travel out west for a Prime Time game only to figuratively get wacked in the head with a helmet on national television.
