IDP Fantasy Football Waiver Wire for Week 15 (2023) | Fantasy In Frames

Welcome to Week 15’s IDP Waiver Wire article at Fantasy In Frames for the 2023 fantasy football season!

As I did for Week 14, I will use FantasyPros Expert Consensus Rankings to base my weekly recommendations for players to roster. I believe using this method of identifying waiver recommendations will benefit people from newbie leagues to the more advanced IDP-playing fantasy managers. Here are my IDP Fantasy Football Waiver Wire recommendations for Week 15 (2023).

Michael Hoecht & Byron Young

  • As I’ve said all season long, give me EDGE rushers with a high tackle floor, and I’ll be happy. That’s what you’re getting with Hoecht. Since Week 11, Hoecht has tallied 13 solo tackles, five assisted tackles, one sack, and an average of 10.8 points, which I considered his floor against Washington this week.
  • Conversely, while not the high-volume tackling EDGE rusher that Hoecht is, Byron Young has been the beneficiary many times this season of taking advantage of the attention Hoecht has drawn in plus matchups versus poor blocking offensive linemen.
  • For those looking at DLs with upside in Week 15, these two this week versus Washington are good options.

Denico Autry

  • Tied for the team lead in pressures amongst EDGE rushers on the Titans, Denico Autry continues to be an overlooked asset for fantasy managers.
  • Over the past three weeks, he’s averaged a sack a game and 12.6 fantasy points per game in FantasyPros scoring.

Christian Harris

  • Per PFF, Harris led the way in most defensive snaps on Sunday and had a team-leading tackle efficiency of 15.9%.
  • Since Week 11, Harris has tallied 23 solo tackles, 10 assisted tackles, and 13.5 fantasy points per game.
  • Should Blake Cashman miss any time with this hamstring injury he suffered this past week, Harris will make for a solid LB2 for you going forward.

Isaiah McDuffie

  • I’ve spoken for the past few weeks about Isaiah McDuffie being the LB handcuff you want to roster if you are the DeVondre Campbell or Quay Walker manager. All he does is make tackles on tackles on tackles.
  • Roster him before someone else does.

Kenneth Murray

  • Murray has been playing outstanding as of late this season. In Week 14, he had a 16.4% tackle efficiency with a 12 total tackles, and a 19.8-point performances versus The Broncos.
  • With The Chargers seemly dead in the water going forward without Justin Herbert on offense to lead the way, look for volume to be on Murray’s side going forward on defense and for him to pay dividends for your fantasy roster!

P.J. Locke

  • Confession time. My wife knocked me out of the last playoff spot in our family home league. HOWEVER, she did so by reading my waiver wire article last week, where I hyped up P.J. Locke.
  • Locke has been the DB5 in FantasyPros IDP scoring the past few weeks by being a tackling monster. If he’s still available, pick him up ASAP.

John Johnson III

  • Talk about a blast from the past, but don’t overlook Johnson III’s hot streak lately. Back-to-back weeks with double-digit fantasy point production with 8 solo tackles and 6 assisted tackles, and a couple of impact plays to go along with that.
  • He’s someone who, versus Washington this week, could be in line for another 10+ point performance.

Jordan Battle

  • 44.6% box snap utilization in Week 14 with Minnesota coming to town in Week 15, who will likely try to keep this game on the ground = Major Upside This Week!
