#1 KJ Osborn Vs. The Bears

This week, the Vikings go to Chicago to face their division-rival Bears. With Justin Jefferson on the IR for the moment dealing with a hamstring injury, this elevates all the Vikings receivers including KJ. Osborn was already number 2 in snaps for the receivers with Jefferson on the field getting 91% of snaps so he is almost certain to have more opportunity come his way with him off the field. The rookie Addison has been seeing a little more of the target share, but Osborn has been on the field more. I see his targets going up a notch starting this week.

#2 Curtis Samuel Vs. The Falcons

Curtis Samuel has been one of Sam Howell’s favorite receivers as of late. He is receiving 15% of the target share in this offense. He has been targeted 27 times this year so far this is only three fewer targets than Jahan Dotson who is sitting at 30 targets. Dotson has been having a problem with getting separation this season. That might be the reason why the target share is so close. It’s intriguing because Jahan Dotson is seeing the most snaps out of the whole Commanders receiving core, but Curtis Samuel has the highest route win rate out of Terry and Jahan, sitting at 47.4%, and Samuel is ranked 9th in the NFL in separation. So when he runs a route, he is almost guaranteed to be open. Fire up Samuel in your flex position, and you could leave him there if the offense keeps using him as they do.

#3 Josh Palmer Vs.The Cowboys

Since the injury to Mike Williams, Palmer has filled in as the #2 in this offense. His targets went up to seven in week 3 and eight in week 4. Palmer is now second on in the Chargers receiver room in snaps with 67%. He was seeing the third-most targets on the team with Mike Wiliams in the lineup at 22%; this percentage should go up even with the team getting Quentin Johnston more involved and Eckler returning. With both of those cases, that still should not hinder managers from making Palmer a nice flex option in deeper leagues.

#4 Zay Flowers Vs. The Titans

Flowers should be a smash flex option this week as they play the weak pass defense of the Titans. With the inconsistent play of Beckham and Bateman, Flowers has come through the ranks and been the only bright spot in that receiving corp. He has averaged 9.5 half-PPR points per game and is the number two option in this offense behind only Mark Andrews. Flowers, as of right now, leads the team in targets with 40, and this is only because Andrews was injured at the beginning of the season, but he does lead all receivers. The opportunity is there because he is the only reliable one in the receiver room, and the Titans give up 240 yards per game passing. Flex Zay Flowers with confidence this week.

#5 D’Onta Foreman Vs. The Vikings

Forman is the clear-cut third running back in this offense. For the past couple of weeks, he has been a healthy scratch because of the need for special teamers. Now, with Johnson still in concussion protocol, Herbert on IR, and Homer out with a Hamstring injury, Foreman will be the lone running back in this backfield with the expectation of Justin Fields having a few more extra carries as well. The Vikings give up 102 yards on the ground per game to opposing offenses. Foreman is a smash flex play with a possible RB2 upside this weekend.
