4-Eyed Observations: Week 9

Fantasy Stats (Standard Scoring Leagues) and Info via espn.com/fantasy & FantasyPros.com

1) IDP Players Getting It Done!

  • These two are fantastic IDP players who are only getting better each week. They need to be owned in ALL IDP leagues.

  • Speaking of being owned in all IDP leagues both linebackers, coming off of injury (Humber since week 5), had fantastic bounce back games this past weekend! Humber, having been likely dropped earlier in the season, is probably on your waiver-wire right now. Go get him!

2) Will Kirk Cousins PLEASE throw Josh Doctson the ball more?!?!?!?!

  • Jay Gruden, last week, emphasized how Cousins needs to start trusting his receivers to make plays down the field more. As we all saw last night when he, in fact, did so that translated into Josh Doctson, almost single-handedly, winning the game for Washington over Seattle. Doctson should be stashed in all leagues with the hope that Cousins starts letting it rip-down field on opponents going forward!

3) Greg Zuerlein proving how important kickers are to winning your weekly matchups and your league championship!

  • Look, folks, kickers matter. Yeah, we neglect them in our drafts because everyone tells us we’re supposed to stream the position, and for the most part, the experts are right. However, looking at the stats above which almost certainly have slanted into Zuerlein’s favor yet again this week you should not underestimate how much a good kicker on a solid offense can help you from week to week. If…If you can acquire Zuerlein this late in the season trust me you will not regret it!

4) Robert Woods is the receiver to have next week!

  • The Rams face the Houston Texans next week which going into week 9 allowed 22.5 fppg to wide receivers. With Sammy Watkins likely drawing coverage as the team’s #1 receiver look for Woods to pickup right where he left off in week 9. Trust me he’s available on your waiver-wire. Submit your claims and put him into your starting lineups!
