Player Overview

DJ Moore changes scenery from Carolina to Chicago to team up with young sensational QB Justin Fields. The grass certainly does look greener as he also gets a more competent pass-catching group, with Darnell Mooney and TE Cole Kmet, who keeps improving year over year. The Bears also addressed the offensive line this past April after drafting RT Darnell Wright with the 10th overall selection out of Tennessee. Wright never allowed a sack in 19 consecutive starts, protecting another scrambling QB in Hendon Hooker.

The Bears not only drafted a RT, they also added a RG in free agency, signing Nate Davis from the Tennessee Titans on a three-year deal. Their commitment to protecting Justin Fields should buy him more time in the pocket to find DJ Moore.

Fantasy Summary

Since entering the league in 2018, DJ Moore has surpassed 5,000 yards with 5,201 yards, and doing this with multiple different quarterbacks. Moore has gone three straight seasons from 2019-2021 eclipsing the 1,000 yard mark. He has also shown to be pretty durable, only missing a handful of games throughout his career. Although he did have a down year last year, it’s safe to say that it was an anomaly, and he still gathered 888 yards on 63 catches.

Currently, at FantasyPros in redraft his ADP is sitting at WR20 or 50 overall, making him an early 4th-round selection in your fantasy drafts. Players going near him include Chris Godwin, JK Dobbins, Miles Sanders, Drake London, Rachaad White, and Cam Akers. I much rather have DJ Moore over this group since he has shown more consistency throughout his career than any of those players, other than Chris Godwin, who now has arguably his worst quarterback of his career.
