Player Overview
Heading into his 5th season, Jakobi Meyers will look to capitalize on his previous couple of seasons of consistent success on the field and enter free agency as one of the more highly sought-after wide receivers in the NFL. Fantasy Summary (UPDATED 04/03/2023)
With Meyers signing in free agency with the Las Vegas Raiders, he reunites with his former offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels who is now entering his second season as head coach of the Raiders. While some might look at this as a positive for Meyers, he has now become 3rd in the pecking order behind wide receivers Davante Adams and Hunter Renfrow, which certainly knocks down his value a bit. The Dynasty Fantasy Football community appears to feel the same way, as evidenced by his March Startup Draft ADP falling from WR46 in January to WR50 in March.
Still, Meyers has locked in the #3 receiving position for the team, with Darren Waller and Mack Hollins no longer being on the roster. Meyers has week-to-week volatility, but depending on the matchup, he could have sneaky upside, given his familiarity with McDaniel’s system.
