Ding Dong the bye weeks are done! We have made it to Week 15 Fantasy Football and likely the playoffs in your league! Last week, I had a feeling Jalen Guyton was going to be able to have a game with the other receivers on the Covid list and he stepped up big time. I couldn’t buy a DL1/2 performance to save my life last week though. Now, we head to Week 15 Fantasy Football matchups!

On bye: NOBODY! WOOOOH!

Here are your 4-EYED Starts & Sits of the Week!

Quarterbacks

Start: Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings against the Chicago Bears

Cousins didn’t need to do much in Week 14 as it was running back Dalvin Cook that carried the Minnesota offense with his 205 rushing yards. This week, Cousins draws a Bears defense giving up the fifth-most points per game to opposing quarterbacks. These divisional opponents haven’t played yet this season and they meet again in Week 18.

Additional Week 15 Fantasy Football Starts:

Jimmy Garoppolo against the Atlanta Falcons, Jalen Hurts against the Washington Football Team and Taysom Hill against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Sit: Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers against the Buffalo Bills

Welp, Newton had yet another picturesque Cam performance with a 12-yard touchdown run, a timeshare under center, and a team loss. Yes, Newton has the rushing upside and head coach Matt Rhule said that he is the “starter”, but the Bills are the best team in the league at limiting quarterbacks and Newton isn’t going to be able to get anything going.

Additional Week 15 Fantasy Football Sits:

Ryan Tannehill against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Russell Wilson against the Los Angeles Rams, and Carson Wentz against the New England Patriots

Running Backs

Start: Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Kansas City Chiefs against the Los Angeles Chargers

Trust me, I didn’t expect that I would be typing this either, but the fantasy football playoffs call for desperate measures. When these two teams met in Week 3, CEH had 17 carries for 100 yards and a touchdown on the game. The Chargers are giving up the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs per game.

Additional Week 15 Fantasy Football Starts:

Josh Jacobs against the Cleveland Browns, Elijah Mitchell against the Atlanta Falcons, and D’Onta Foreman against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Sit: James Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars against the Houston Texans

This matchup with the Texans screams start for Robinson, but I don’t know how he pissed off head coach Urban Meyer but he must’ve. Over the team’s last two games he has 14 total carries and that is with quarterback Trevor Lawrence saying they need to involve him more because he is one of their best players. He seems to be on the naughty list with Meyer this holiday season so it’s too risky to play him.

Additional Week 15 Fantasy Football Sits:

Saquon Barkley against the Dallas Cowboys, Devin Singletary against the Carolina Panthers, and Chuba Hubbard against the Buffalo Bills.

Wide Receivers

Start: Diontae Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers against the Tennessee Titans

The Titans are giving up the most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers and Johnson is the apple of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s eye. Johnson has seen at least 11 targets in five straight games and with how good the titans defense is against the run, Johnson should be heavily targeted once again.

Additional Week 15 Fantasy Football Starts:

Hunter Renfrow against the Cleveland Browns, Brandin Cooks against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and Darnell Mooney against the Minnesota Vikings.

Sit: Michael Pittman Jr., Indianapolis Colts against the New England Patriots

The Colts are coming out of their bye week and are hoping to use this late rest to make that playoff push. Pittman Jr. looked like he was going to be a league winner this year in Week 7 and 8 when he had back-to-back top-7 finishes for wide receivers. Since then, he hasn’t had another WR1 finish and has only finished as a WR2 in two games. The Patriots are allowing the fourth-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.

Additional Week 15 Fantasy Football Sits:

Mecole Hardman against the Los Angeles Chargers, Robby Anderson against the Buffalo Bills, and Jarvis Landry against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Tight Ends

Start: Ricky Seals-Jones, Washington Football Team against the Philadelphia Eagles

I almost just wrote ‘whoever is active’ for the start post because of the chaos that was the tight end position in Week 14. Seals-Jones couldn’t have a better matchup as the Eagles are giving up the most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. With Terry McLaurin dealing with concussion symptoms, somebody is going to have to catch passes for the Team and Seals-Jones at least has an exploitable matchup. These teams meet again in Week 17 so if he goes off this week, look for him during championship week in your league.

Additional Week 15 Fantasy Football Starts:

Mike Gesicki against the New York Jets, Dallas Goedert against the Washington Football Team, and Tyler Conklin against the Chicago Bears.

Sit: Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons against the San Francisco 49ers

Pitts being overhyped coming into fantasy football drafts may be the understatement of the year. He is coming off a decent performance against the Carolina Panthers but runs into a brick wall this week against the 49ers. They are giving up the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends per game. With the playoffs on the line, see if you can find a more favorable matchup.

Additional Week 15 Fantasy Football Sits:

Evan Engram against the Dallas Cowboys, Jared Cook against the Kansas City Chiefs, and Tyler Higbee against the Seattle Seahawks.

With IDP options being so plentiful in fantasy football, each week we’re going to list for you an option at each position with honorable mentions to help set your lineups with confidence.

Defensive Linemen

Start: Nick Bosa, San Francisco 49ers against the Atlanta Falcons

Bosa is about to go into this matchup hungry and ready to eat. Do you know what’s great about facing Cordarelle Patterson in a game week? Getting to lineup against the better Deebo Samuel every day in practice. Bosa has been on a tear this season and that won’t stop this weekend.

Additional Week 15 Fantasy Football Starts:

Javon Hargrave against the Washington Football Team, Trey Hendrickson against the Denver Broncos, and Kenny Clark against the Baltimore Ravens.

Linebackers

Start: De’Vondre Campbell, Green Bay Packers against the Baltimore Ravens

I think Cambell is due for a solid game whether or not Lamar Jackson is under center or not. If Jackson is, Campbell can be used as a spy to keep an eye on him and try to clog up the middle of the field. If it is Huntley, then we saw how much he is going to rely on Mark Andrews and Campbell is the first line of defense against him. I like Campbell this week.

Additional Week 15 Fantasy Football Starts:

Cole Holcomb against the Philadelphia Eagles, Micah Parsons against the New York Giants, and Denzel Perryman against the Cleveland Browns.

Defensive Backs

Start: Nasir Adderley, Los Angeles Chargers against the Kansas City Chiefs

Adderley has had an up and down season but has finished about as the DB25 on average over the last few weeks. He won’t be the homerun play, but he has a solid floor with upside in this matchup. When these teams met in Week 3, Adderley had 12 fantasy points and finished as the DB25. With the way that the Chiefs offense has looked recently, I think he is going to see a high tackle volume and come away with a surprisingly good week.

Additional Week 15 Fantasy Football Starts:

Jordan Poyer against the Carolina Panthers, Xavier McKinney against the Dallas Cowboys, and Ronnie Harrison Jr. against the Las Vegas Raiders.
