Waiver Wire Adds for Week 4

Waiver Wire Week 4 Fantasy Football Fantasy In Frames 2022

Welcome to our third Waiver Wire article for the season!

Another week of watching players on the waiver wire outscore your starting lineup. While some of these guys just a rare good game, others may be legit. Here are your Waiver Wire Adds for Week 4!

QBs

Jared Goff

Consensus Rostership: 37.3%, Week 4 Matchup: Seattle Seahawks

  • While Goff didn’t have an amazing game against the Vikings, he’ll look to have a more favorable matchup against Seattle in week 4. Goff should be rostered in most leagues due to the weapons at his disposal and the talent he has at the offensive line. St. Brown is a stud, Hockenson was able to find the end zone, and while Swift may miss some time with a should injury, Jamaal Williams will perform well in his place.

Matt Ryan

Consensus Rostership: 25.6%, Week 4 Matchup: Tennessee Titans

  • The Colts should not have come into week 3 with a loss and a tie, this win over Kansas City may be what they needed. This is a good team offensively and defensively all around. Matt Ryan, for the first time in a while, has good offensive weapons and a good o-line to protect him. Expect more success from Indianapolis.

RBs

Alexander Mattison

Consensus Rostership: 46.2%, Week 4 Matchup: New Orleans Saints

  • If you’ve played fantasy for the past few years, you should know who this guy is. The fact that he isn’t rostered in all leagues is absurd. Especially since Dalvin Cook missed four games last season from injury. Mattison will only start to see more usage. Sooner or later, he won’t be just a handcuff and will have stand-alone value.

Khalil Herbert

Consensus Rostership: 37.2%, Week 4 Matchup: New York Giants

  • So, Montgomery goes out with injury and Herbert goes nuts for 157 yards and 2 touchdowns on 20 attempts. PICK HIM UP! Montgomery is great but the team seems to be very run-heavy, which will mean Herbert will get used as well.

Jamaal Williams

Consensus Rostership: 52.2%, Week 4 Matchup Seattle Seahawks

  • As I mentioned earlier, Williams will look to have a bigger role in Detroit’s offense for the next couple of weeks, with Swift expecting to miss time. They already use Williams a lot with Swift in the game, imagine how much work he’ll get without Swift. Williams looks to be a solid RB2 for week 4.

WRs

Romeo Doubs

Consensus Rostership: 20.4%, Week 4 Matchup: New England Patriots

  • This guy had some buzz during training camp and it seems to be panning out. 8/8 with 73 yards and a touchdown for the Packers’ rookie. This is a time where Aaron Rodgers will look to find who his primary target will be for the season. Doubs is making a serious case for himself.

Kadarius Toney

Consensus Rostership: 43.8%, Week 4 Matchup: Chicago Bears

  • This pick isn’t more for the matchup as it is just for Toney’s talent. Managers are getting restless with Toney’s lack of play and are dropping him in a lot of leagues. If your team is stacked at WR, throw a claim on Toney this week. It may not pan out for a few weeks but when he does play, the talent will show itself.

TEs

Evan Engram

Consensus Rostership: 27.2%, Week 4 Matchup: Philadelphia Eagles

  • The Jags offense seems to have found its rhythm. You might want to grab their starting tight end before it’s too late. Trevor Lawrence targeted three of his receiver at least 7 times each. It won’t be long until some of that work spreads to Evan Engram.

Tyler Conklin

Consensus Rostership: 16%, Week 4 Matchup: Pittsburgh Steelers

  • Conklin has at least 7 targets in all three games this season. Some with that workload should not be available in over 80% of leagues. This is a pass-heavy Jets offense, they will be behind in most games, go get Conklin.
