QBs
Mike White (New York Jets)
Rostership Percentages: ESPN: 12.8% | Yahoo: 17% | Sleeper: 21%|
Week 17 Matchup: Seattle Seahawks
- Mike White is back in the lineup for the Jets this week, just in time to face a Seahawks team that’s allowed 17 PPG to the position all season and 17.4 PPG over the past three weeks. In his last three games, White has averaged over 317 yards passing on 43 passing attempts per game for an average of 17.3 PPG. Seventeen seems to be the key number here, in case you haven’t figured it out. I’d bet the over on it, given the game’s shoot-out nature.
Brock Purdy (San Francisco 49ers)
Rostership Percentages: ESPN: 39.9% | Yahoo: 36% | Sleeper: 11%|
Week 17 Matchup: Las Vegas Raiders
- I was wrong last week. Purdy is more than capable against suspect defenses to serve you well as a QB streaming option on championship weekend as he faces a Raiders team that has allowed close to 20 PPG to the position all season. You can trust him and his weapons in this matchup in Week 17.
RBs
Tyler Allgeier (Atlanta Falcons)
Rostership Percentages: ESPN: 39.2% | Yahoo: 49% | Sleeper: 70%|
Week 17 Matchup: Arizona Cardinals
- Allgeier had another solid performance against Baltimore with 74 yards rushing, 43 yards receiving on TWENTY-TWO TOUCHES! All that was missing was the touchdown. This week he and the Falcons face a Cardinals team that allowed a hobbled Leonard Fournette to rumble for 162 total yards and 20.7 fantasy points in Week 16. He’s a definite MUST FLEX this week.
Chuba Hubbard (Carolina Panthers)
Rostership Percentages: ESPN: 26.3% | Yahoo: 38% | Sleeper: 66%|
Week 17 Matchup: Tampa Bay Buccanneers
- This two-headed rushing attack for the Panthers is on the verge of helping them get into the playoffs and Chuba Hubbard has been an important piece of the puzzle. Hubbard in three of his last four games has at minimum 60 yards rushing and 1 TD. This past week against Detroit he posted 125 yards rushing on 12 attempts. In a pivotal matchup for the NFC South division against the Bucs, look for Carolina to stick to the running game and for Hubbard to be a deep FLEX option for you this week.
WRs
Jahan Dotson (Washington Commanders)
Rostership Percentages: ESPN: 30.1% | Yahoo: 23% | Sleeper: 67%|
Week 17 Matchup: Cleveland Browns
- If you haven’t figured it out by now I’m a Commanders fan who likes to keep his biases out of his analysis, yet as I mentioned last week and the week prior, Jahan Dotson is a MUST START. Nothing changes this week against the Browns. Dotson has had a touchdown in every game he’s played and has averaged 90.5 receiving yards the past two games played. Start him. Win with him. God Speed.
DJ Chark Jr. (Detroit Lions)
Rostership Percentages: ESPN: 30.8% | Yahoo: 51% | Sleeper: 76%|
Week 17 Matchup: Chicago Bears
- The last time the Lions took on the Bears, Chark posted nothing…because he was injured. However, in the past three out of four games played, Chark has averaged 79.5 yards per game with a yards per target of 15.1 yards. Playing at home, indoors, should help Chark’s outlook this week in a must-win game.
TEs
Greg Dulcich (Denver Broncos)
Rostership Percentages: ESPN: 53.5% | Yahoo: 50% | Sleeper: 65%|
Week 17 Matchup: Kansas City Chiefs
- Eight targets in the past three of four games played is what you want to find out of any receiving position, let alone at the tight end position on the waiver wire at this point in the season. Given the volatility in Denver with the firing of their Head Coach on Monday, look for the offense to remain consistent this final week of the fantasy playoffs and for Dulcich to remain a secondary target in this offense versus the Chiefs. This is a truly desperate addition, and if you have any other options, please pursue those.
D/STs
Jacksonville Jaguars
Rostership Percentages: ESPN: 0.6%, Yahoo: 17%, Sleeper: 9%;
Week 17 Matchup: Houston Texans
- Jacksonville has averaged 14 PPG the past three weeks and posted 10 sacks during that time. Against a “middle of the road” Texans pass-blocking offensive line, Jacksonville should add to their sack totals this weekend when it matters most.
