Waiver Wire Adds for Week 14

Waiver Wire Adds for Week 14 (2022) Fantasy In Frames

Here is your guide for who are the MAJOR Waiver Wire Adds in Week 14. For a more comprehensive list, check out my waiver wire rankings here.

QBs

Mike White (New York Jets)

Consensus Rostership: 15.7%, Week 14 Matchup: Buffalo Bills

  • Obviously sit White against Buffalo but if your looking for a solid backup QB option for the fantasy playoffs, Mike White is your guy. He has one of the easiest remaining schedules for any starting QB. He could be the perfect plug and play incase of injury

Jared Goff (Detroit Lions)

Consensus Rostership: 39.8%, Week 14 Matchup: Minnesota Vikings

  • The Vikings are letting up the 8th most fantasy points to QBs this season. In a heated divisional matchup, Goff could be a fringe QB1 value.

Tyler Huntley (Baltimore Ravens)

Consensus Rostership: 0.7%, Week 14 Matchup: Pittsburgh Steelers

  • In the six games in Huntley’s NFL career when he plays at least 86% of snaps he averages 16.11 fantasy points. With Lamar Jackson unlikely to play in week 8, Huntley could perform very well against a generous Steelers defense (9th in points allowed to QBs).

RBs

Tyler Allgeier (Atlanta Falcons)

Consensus Rostership: 43.1%, Week 14 Matchup: BYE

  • While it isn’t producing much in fantasy football, Allgeier is still mirroring Cordarrelle Patterson’s workload. It’s only a matter of time before the rookie takes over this backfield from the 31 year old.

Alexander Mattison (Minnesota Vikings)

Consensus Rostership: 29%, Week 14 Matchup: Detroit Lions

  • For fantasy managers going into the playoffs with Dalvin Cook. PICKUP MATTISON NOW. God forbid Cook goes down within the next 4 weeks you are gonna want as much insurance as possible.

James Cook (Buffalo Bills)

Consensus Rostership: 24.2%, Week 14 Matchup: New York Jets

  • Speaking of Cook, James Cook has slowly been earning a larger workload in the past three weeks. He had 11 carries for 86 yards in week 11, targets in week 12, and 14 carries for 64 yards and 6 receptions on 6 targets for 41 yards in week 13. Look for this to continue towards the end of the season.

WRs

Nico Collins (Houston Texans)

Consensus Rostership: 24.1%, Week 14 Matchup: Dallas Cowboys

  • Collins has had at least 7 targets in the last 4 games with a touchdown in two of those games. He may be the fresh pair of legs taking over the WR1 role over Brandin Cooks

Robert Woods (Tennessee Titans)

Consensus Rostership: 40.1%, Week 14 Matchup: Jacksonville Jaguars

  • Treylon Burks took a nasty hit in that game against Philly. If he were to miss next week against the Jags, I would think that Woods would take the majority of what little passing work there is in this Tennessee offense.

D.J. Charks (Detroit Lions)

Consensus Rostership: 17.5%, Week 14 Matchup: Minnesota Vikings

  • Chark is one of the more underrated receivers not only on the Lions but in the NFL. At only 26 years old, he can still be very effected in a high volume passing offense such as Detroit’s.

TEs

Greg Dulcich (Denver Broncos)

Consensus Rostership 38.1%, Week 14 Matchup: Kansas City Chiefs

  • The Broncos can use Dulcich as much as they want, they will still find ways to lose games. While this may be bad for Nathaniel Hackett’s job security, it’s great for Dulcich’s fantasy value.

Daniel Bellinger (New York Giants)

Consensus Rostership: 1.9%, Week 14 Matchup: Philadelphia Eagles

  • In his first game back Bellinger earned 5 targets and caught all of them. With the lack of receiving help in this Giants offense, Bellinger could find tons of fantasy success.

D/STs

Pittsburgh Steelers

Consensus Rostership: 43.7%, Week 14 Matchup: Baltimore Ravens

  • I know spoke highly about Huntley there is a flip side, the side where Huntley doesn’t get accustomed to the Ravens offense and TJ Watt, Minkah Fitzpatrick and the rest of the Steelers defense take advantage of that.

Las Vegas Raiders

Consensus Rostership: 6.7%, Week 14 Matchup: Los Angeles Rams

  • The same reasoning for the Raiders is the same reasoning for the Seahawks last week, the Rams are not a complete football team.

Arizona Cardinals

Consensus Rostership: 5.8%, Week 14 Matchup: New England Patriots

  • While the Cardinals defense is nothing special, neither is the Patriots offense. Arizona could find some weaknesses in their Monday Night Matchup.
