We are already eight weeks through the NFL season, yet there is still value on the waiver wire. Here is your guide for who are the MAJOR Waiver Wire Adds in Week 10. For a more comprehensive list, check out my waiver wire rankings here.
QBs
Daniel Jones (New York Giants) | Consensus Rostership: 43.1%, Week 10 Matchup: Houston Texans
The Texans rank last in run defense grade among the whole league. Jones is tied for the 6th most rushing TDs and tied for 17th in PFF rushing grade among all non-RBs. Jones should be the top QB picked up off waivers.
Jared Goff (Detroit Lions) | Consensus Rostership: 41.8%, Week 10 Matchup: Chicago Bears
The Lions were able to get the win over the Packers with much work from Amon Ra St. Brown and D’Andre Swift. Imagine if they both played at their full potential since both are returning from injuries. Goff could be a solid bye-week play if you’re losing either Joe Burrow or Lamar Jackson.
Marcus Mariota (Atlanta Falcons) | Consensus Rostership: 34%, Week 10 Matchup: Carolina Panthers
Mariota should have a solid game against the Panthers on Thursday Night. The last time he played this division rival, he scored 24 fantasy points and was QB6 on the week. He is currently QB12 on the season, mainly because of his rushing upside.
RBs
Jeff Wilson Jr. (Miami Dolphins) | Consensus Rostership: 48.5%, Week 10 Matchup: Cleveland Browns
Wilson may have just taken Mostert’s job as RB1 for the Dolphins. Both had 9 attempts with Wilson having 51 rushing yards and Mostert having 26. Wilson really got the edge in the passing game, where he caught 3 of 3 targets for 21 yards. Wilson could be a solid second-half player in this high-scoring Miami offense.
Isiah Pacheco (Kansas City Chiefs) | Consensus Rostership: 28.6%, Week 10 Matchup: Jacksonville Jaguars
While this backfield has a massive timeshare between Pacheco, Edwards-Helaire, and McKinnon, Pacheco is the youngest and most athletic one of the three. At the very least, Pacheco should be stashed in all leagues in case he does have that one breakout game.
Rachaad White (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) | Consensus Rostership: 28.6%, Week 10 Matchup: Seattle Seahawks
Rachaad White has officially entered handcuff status. His workload has increased almost every week this year. He finished Sunday’s game against the Rams with 8 attempts for 27 rushing yards, both career highs for the rookie out of Arizona State. The Bucs clearly want White to be a part of this offense, and if Fournette misses any time, White becomes a roster lock.
WRs
Terrace Marshall (Carolina Panthers) | Consensus Rostership: 7%, Week 10 Matchup: Atlanta Falcons
Marshall has seemed to take the WR2 in this new Panthers offense. Carolina has resorted to passing more since trading McCaffrey, and it has paid off for Marshall, having 12 and 14 fantasy points in the past two weeks.
Mecole Hardman (Kansas City Chiefs) | Consensus Rostership: 41.9%, Week 10 Matchup: Jacksonville Jaguars
Hardman has had a great four-game stretch in fantasy, scoring at least 12 points with a 28 point outing in week 7 and a 19-point game on Sunday against Tennessee. Almost all Chiefs receivers should be rostered, especially Mecole Hardman.
Wan’Dale Robinson (New York Giants) | Consensus Rostership: 23.1%, Week 10 Matchup: Houston Texans
After trading Kadarius Toney before the deadline, Wan’Dale is now the clear WR1 for the New York Giants. The Texans allow 17 fantasy points to WRs, this could result in a pretty solid matchup for the rookie out of Kentucky.
TEs
Greg Dulcich (Denver Broncos) | Consensus Rostership: 31.8%, Week 10 Matchup: Tennessee Titans
Since week 6, Dulcich has scored at least 11 fantasy points and has been one of the better pieces of this offense. The Titans allow the 11th most fantasy points to TEs, Dulcich could be a fringe starter having come off his BYE week.
Tyler Conklin (New York Jets) | Consensus Rostership: 32%, Week 10 Matchup: BYE
Conklin has the 10th-highest target share among all TEs and has the 6th-highest target share among all TEs over the past three weeks. This workload should make for a very rosterable player in fantasy.
Cole Kmet (Chicago Bears) | Consensus Rostership: 25.2%, Week 10 Matchup: Detroit Lions
The breakout game finally happened. This Bears offense may be taking a new form and Kmet may be one of the many benefactors of this.
DSTs
Denver Broncos | Consensus Rostership: 27.8%, Week 10 Matchup: Tennessee Titans
The Broncos are allowing the fewest fantasy points per game. The Titans are starting a rookie QB who has not looked all that good. Not much thought needs to go into this pick.
New York Giants | Consensus Rostership: 3.7%, Week 10 Matchup: Houston Texans
The Giants defense has been able to stop Lamar Jackson and the Ravens and Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay. I think they will be just fine against Davis Mills and the Texans.
Tennessee Titans | Consensus Rostership: 12.8%, Week 10 Matchup: Denver Broncos
The Titans were able to get a few stops against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. They play Russell Wilson and the Broncos, who have not been good this year. Tennessee may have an opportunity in what could be a very low-scoring matchup.
