Week 7 Opponent
- Jacksonville Jaguars
My number one flex play for this week is Demario Douglas. This play went from a deep sleep flex play of mine last week to a play that you need to fit in your flex spot this week. Douglas has shown that he is the number one WR in this offense. Especially last week against the Texans. Drake Maye targeted him very frequently. The Jaguars defense plays the most man coverage in the NFL, and they are also ranked dead last at stopping yards through the air. They give opponents 276.7 yards per game through the air. Douglas is also ranked third in the NFL at win rate versus man. If you missed playing Douglas last week, don’t worry because he makes for an even better flex play this week.
#2 Brian Thomas Jr.
2024 Season Stats
- Games Played: 6
- Targets/Receptions/Yards: 40/25/424
- Touchdowns: 3
- Non-PPR: 40.8
- Half-PPR: 49.3
- Full-PPR: 57.8
On the other side of that game, you can flex Brian Thomas. BTJ has had a pretty consistent season. Even though he still has his moments of looking like a rookie. He would have had a good fantasy week last week if it wasn’t for that dropped touchdown pass in the endzone. Thomas has shown that he is the number one read for Trevor Lawerence. He does have his rookie mistakes at times but I believe he will have a flex-worthy day against a defense that is ranked 24th against the pass.
#3 Jakobi Meyers
2023 Season Stats
- Games Played: 16
- Targets/Receptions/Yards: 106/71/807
- Touchdowns: 8
- Non-PPR: 147.6
- Half-PPR: 183.1
- Full-PPR: 218.6
2024 Season Stats
- Games Played: 5
- Targets/Receptions/Yards: 36/25/273
- Touchdowns: 1
- Non-PPR: 35.6
- Half-PPR: 48.1
- Full-PPR: 60.6
Week 7 Opponent
- LA Rams
My number two flex option for this week is Jakobi Meyers. The Las Vegas Raiders square off against the LA Rams this week. With the recent trade of Devante Adams, the target share of Meyers should remain the same as it has been since week 4. Over the past three weeks, Meyers has seen his target share rise to 31.1%, averaging 9.5 targets a game. The Rams rank 18th in yards per game against the pass, allowing 218 yards through the air. Operating as the clear-cut WR1 in this offense, he should have a flex-worthy game this week.
#4 JuJu Smith-Schuster
2023 Season Stats
- Games Played: 11
- Targets/Receptions/Yards: 47/29/260
- Touchdowns: 1
- Non-PPR: 32.0
- Half-PPR: 46.5
- Full-PPR: 61.0
2024 Season Stats
- Games Played: 5
- Targets/Receptions/Yards: 12/9/147
- Touchdowns: 1
- Non-PPR: 20.7
- Half-PPR: 25.2
- Full-PPR: 29.7
Week 7 Opponent
- SF 49ers
My number four flex option is Juju Smith-Schuster. He is a good option for this week and could possibly be a constant flex option going forward with the loss of Rashee Rice for the season. In week six he took on the same type of role that Rice had before his injury and had 7 receptions for a 160-yard day. It’s been a while since we have seen that type of production coming from him. I don’t see the usage going down because of the lack of weapons in this offense.
