Preston’s Flex Plays For Week 4
This is Preston Evans, your Fantasy Homeboy, here to give all my fellow degenerates my Top Four Flex Plays for Week 4. As we go into this week of some great football, things are slowly starting to settle in with trends and tendencies but still have a long way to go to get to some real stability due to the flurry of injuries we are still dealing with. I have my four flex plays for the week that will hopefully help you out.

Week 4 Opponent
- Carolina Panthers
My first flex option is Tee Higgins. Last week we saw the snap count go right back to the way it was before the hamstring injury. He is the clear-cut number 2 in a Joe Burrow lead offense, when he is healthy, everything is right in the world again. Fantasy managers can put him back in your Flex spot and sit comfortably. The Bengals are playing against the Panthers this week. The Panthers rank 17th in passing yards per game, giving up 201.7 yards in the air. This week Higgins is healthy so you flex him and watch him give you a range going from high-end WR3 to high-end WR2 fantasy points in this possible shootout.
#2 Terry McLaurin

- Half-PPR: 25.9
- Full-PPR: 31.9
Week 4 Opponent
- Arizona Cardinals
My number two Flex Play is “Scary Terry” McLaurin. He is on the field for 100% of the routes and he has a 27% target share in this offense. He is the clear-cut number one option in this for the Commanders. Last week it looked like he and Daniels got on the same page. This is the connection that we as fantasy managers have been waiting for. This week he will be a smash Flex start against an Arizona Cardinals defense that is ranked 15th against the pass from opposing teams. Fantasy managers can now play McLaurin with extreme confidence in a high-end WR3 finish with a ceiling of a low-end WR1 this week in the flex spot against this Cardinals defense.
#3 Michael Wilson
2023 Season Stats
- Games Played: 13
- Targets/Receptions/Yards: 58/38/565
- Touchdowns: 3
- Non-PPR: 76.5
- Half-PPR: 95.5
- Full-PPR: 114.5
2024 Season Stats
- Games Played: 13
- Targets/Receptions/Yards: 58/38/565
- Touchdowns: 3
- Non-PPR: 76.5
- Half-PPR: 95.5
- Full-PPR: 114.5
Week 4 Opponent
- Washington Commanders
Michael Wilson is my number three flex option for this week. Through the first games of this season, Wilson has shown that he is the number two wide receiver in this offense. He should have a healthy target share this week again. Actually, should receive a bigger target share since Trey McBride will be out this week due to a concussion he suffered in last week’s game. I see Wilson having a big game this week against a pass defense that is ranked 31st against the pass. He should fit right in place in deeper flex leagues.
#4 Roschon Johnson
2023 Season Stats
- Games Played: 15
- Rush Attempts/Yards/YPC: 81/352/4.3
- Touchdowns: 2
- Targets/Receptions/Yards: 40/34/209
- Receiving Touchdowns: 0
- Non-PPR: 68.1
- Half-PPR: 85.1
- Full-PPR: 102.1
2024 Season Stats
- Games Played: 2
- Rush Attempts/Yards/YPC: 8/30/3.8
- Touchdowns: 0
- Targets/Receptions/Yards: 5/4/32
- Touchdowns: 0
- Non-PPR: 6.2
- Half-PPR: 8.2
- Full-PPR: 10.2
Week 4 Opponent
- LA Rams
My final flex option for week 4 is Roschon Johnson. He is a deeper start in your lineup. He saw a 38% snap share last week which resulted in eight carries for 30 yards and 4 receptions for 32 yards. Swift is not working in this offense. It has been proven time after time that he is not a very good runner in between the tackles. Last season behind a top 5 O-Line in the Eagles he could not hold off Gainwell. Now he is running behind a far worse line that is not good at run blocking. Johnson is the most complete running back on the Bears roster. He has been kept out the past couple of weeks trying to recover from an injury. He will not completely take over the workload because they paid Swift but this week I think that he has good standalone value and if you are in a tight situation with all these injuries he could help you out in your flex spot against a Rams defense that is 31st in the league at stopping the run, giving up 177 yards a game.
