#1 JK Dobbins

2022 Season Stats

Week 1 Stats

Week 2 Opponent

My number 1 flex play for week 2 is JK Dobbins. I have many shares of Dobbins because you got him for super cheap in drafts. He is paired up with an offense that is run-heavy and is also clearly the most talented running back on this team. Last week, he saw a 57.7% snap count and was super efficient with 10 carries. I think the snap count will increase this week as they go against the Carolina Panthers. They gave up 180 rushing yards to the New Orleans Saints last week. Now I know we are all worried about Dobbins and his legs. He could not stay on the field in the past two seasons, but I think this is the year he is in an offense that is going to run the ball if managers can put him in your flex spot this week, he should give you RB2 upside at the least, and that is a great position to be in. JK TO THE MOON THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!

#2 Brandin Cooks

2023 Season Stats

Week 1 Stats

Week 2 Opponent

My number two flex option for this week is the wildly old veteran Brandin Cooks. This week he is going against the New Orleans Saints. Now, the Saints had a really good showing against the Panthers last week, but again, they played the Panthers. I don’t believe that the Saints’ defense is that good. Cooks is the number two wide receiver option in this Dallas Cowboys offense. Last week, he out snapped Ceedee Lamb by five plays. Yes, I do think that the reason was the game script, and the Cowboys were clearly dominating. We also don’t know what Jake Ferguson’s status will be this week, given the injury that he suffered last week. Cooks will make a good play for this week in your fantasy lineups. He is going to give his former team headaches.

#3 Jameson Williams

2023 Season Stats

Week 1 Stats

Week 2 Opponent

My number three fantasy flex option for week 2 is Jameson Williams. Williams had the best game of his young career this weekend. Jared Goff was looking for him on routes, and Jameson delivered. He is the clear-cut number-two wide receiver in this offense. The off-season talk about Williams and his growth wasn’t all talk regarding week one. He will not out-target Amon Ra St. Brown this week like he did last week, but I think you saw his role this weekend. He is going to stretch the field, and he is going to open up things underneath. He will get four to five targets a game, and if he capitalizes on them, he will make a great flex this week against the Bucs and beyond. I don’t think The Bucs’ defense is or will be that great going forward. The Lions have a high-powered offense, and last week, they got Williams heavily involved even with St. Brown on the field and healthy. He is a Smash Flex play for this week.

#4 Khalil Shakir

2023 Season Stats

Week 1 Stats

Week 2 Opponent

My number four flex option for this week is Khalil Shakir. Shakir is a very interesting flex option for deeper leagues. At the end of last season, he was number one in the NFL in efficiency and yards per reception.  This guy seems to catch almost everything that comes his way. I like him in this offense because of the lack of proven options they have at the wide receiver position. Now, I’m not saying he is going to set the world on fire this week, but in your deeper leagues where there is more than one flex option, he is not a bad play for a second or third flex spot.

Again, my name is Preston Evans, “The Fantasy Football Homeboy.” Thank you for checking out my Flex Play article for Week 2 and good luck in your Fantasy Football Leagues this week. You can read more of my content on Twitter/X @PJ2082 and Fantasy In Frames.
