#1 Micheal Pittman Jr.

2023 Season Stats

  • Games Played: 16
  • Targets/Receptions/Yards: 156/109/1152
  • Touchdowns: 4
  • Non-PPR: 141.2
  • Half-PPR: 195.7
  • Full-PPR: 250.2

2024 Season Stats

  • Games Played: 8
  • Targets/Receptions/Yards: 53/29/352
  • Touchdowns: 2
  • Non-PPR: 47.2
  • Half-PPR: 61.7
  • Full-PPR: 76.2

Week 9 Opponent

  • Minnesota Vikings

My number one flex play for this week is Michael Pittman Jr. He will make a great flex option going against a Vikings pass defense that is ranked 30th. The Vikings give up 263 yards in the air per game. Now that Anthony Richardson has been benched for Joe Flacco (Joey Flacs is what I call him), Pittman should be receiving more of a target share and the quality of targets should be a whole lot better. Pittman’s best games this year have come with Flacco at the controls and I see Pittman having a flex-worthy plus game against the Vikings in what I think will be a shootout.

#2 DeAndre Hopkins

2023 Season Stats

  • Games Played: 17
  • Targets/Receptions/Yards: 137/75/1057
  • Touchdowns: 7
  • Non-PPR: 148.6
  • Half-PPR: 186.1
  • Full-PPR: 223

2024 Season Stats

  • Games Played: 7
  • Targets/Receptions/Yards: 24/17/202
  • Touchdowns: 1
  • Non-PPR: 26.2
  • Half-PPR: 34.7
  • Full-PPR: 43.2

Week 9 Opponent

  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers

My number two flex option is DeAndre Hopkins. I believe this is the week D Hop has his Kansas City break-out game, and if he doesn’t he will still make one hell of a flex option for this week. He has Patrick Mahomes, who is playing against a very soft pass defense. They are ranked 29th against the pass this season. They have been getting torched through the air this year. This is a great spot for Hopkins to have a get-right day. Put him in your flex spot this week with a lot of confidence.

#3 Jakobi Meyers

2023 Season Stats

  • Games Played: 16
  • Targets/Receptions/Yards: 106/71/807
  • Touchdowns: 8
  • Non-PPR: 147.6
  • Half-PPR: 183.1
  • Full-PPR: 218.6

2024 Season Stats

  • Games Played: 6
  • Targets/Receptions/Yards: 43/31/325
  • Touchdowns: 2
  • Non-PPR: 46.8
  • Half-PPR: 62.3
  • Full-PPR: 77.8

Week 9 Opponent

  • Cincinnati Bengals

My number three flex option for this week is Jakobi Meyers. The Raiders are in need of someone other than Brock Bowers. Meyers should be that guy as he fills the wide receiver one role in this offense, in the wake of the Devante Adams trade. This weeks matchup could be end up a good fantasy week for him. The Bengals give up 219 yards through the air and as of week 8, Meyers is number two in targets on this team right behind Bowers. He should see a major up tick in targets cause more than likely the Raiders could be playing from behind.

#4 Jordan Addison

2023 Season Stats

  • Games Played: 17
  • Targets/Receptions/Yards: 108/70/911
  • Touchdowns: 10
  • Non-PPR: 151.3
  • Half-PPR: 186.3
  • Full-PPR: 221.3

2024 Season Stats

  • Games Played: 5
  • Targets/Receptions/Yards: 23/14/231
  • Touchdowns: 2(1 Rushing TD)
  • Non-PPR: 35.8
  • Half-PPR: 42.8
  • Full-PPR: 49.8

Week 9 Opponent

  • Indianapolis Colts

My number four flex option is Jordan Addison. This should be a very high scoring game between these two good offenses( now that Joe Flacco is at the controls for the Colts). Both of these defenses are going to give up a lot of yards in the air so this could turn into a shootout early. His target share hasn’t been that great so far this season but there should be plenty to go around this week. The Colts give up 227.8 yards through the air. Plenty offense for Addison eat this week. So don’t even think about it managers, just plug him into your flex and be confident in a good week for him.
