This is Preston Evans, your Fantasy Homeboy here to give you my Fantasy Football FLEX Plays for Week 16 (2023)!

It’s playoff time; good luck with all your leagues!!!! So, I hope these options can help you survive the one-and-done season. You can catch all of my content on Twitter/X @PJ2082 and check out all of the great content by our outstanding crew on the Fantasy In Frames website and on YouTube. Let’s get down to business.

#1 Calvin Ridley Vs. The Bucs

My first flex option this week is Calvin Ridley. Ridley is the only game in town this week when it comes to the starters in the Jags wide receiver corp. Kirk is out for the season, and Zay Jones is still questionable with a hamstring injury. Trevor Lawrence is still in the concussion protocol but participated in a full practice on Friday. So he looks to be trending up and will probably be ready to go by Sunday. Tampa Bay is also ranked 31st at defending the pass, giving up 263.9 yards per game. Ridley could have a bounce-back game this week, and playing him in your flex spot could guarantee a high-end WR2/low-end WR1 week. Fire up, Ridley!

#2 Joshua Palmer Vs. The Bills

My second flex option is Joshua Palmer. Palmer has been injured the past few weeks with an injured knee. Now he is back on a week that Kennen Allen has been ruled out due to injury. The wide receiver corp for the Chargers is not very deep at this time. With Allen down and Johnston being unreliable in his rookie campaign, Palmer makes for a great flex option if you are in a pinch this week against the Bills. Now, there is a little risk with playing him because Herbert is not the one passing the ball, and the Bills defense has really stepped up in defending the pass game. So you could flex Palmer but do not expect a high WR2 performance but you are guaranteed high WR3 to low-end WR2 this week.

#3 Chuba Hubbard Vs. The Packers

Chuba Hubbard will make a good flex option this week. From weeks 13 to 15, there has been a huge shift in touches. The past three weeks he has averaged 23 carries a game. He has been a true workhorse. Within those three weeks, he has averaged 92 yards a game and two touchdowns. I do see the workload changing this week. The Packers rank 30th in the league against the run, giving up 138 yards per game to opposing offenses. Chuba Hubbard is a great flex play this week.

#4 Tee Higgins Vs. The Steelers

My fourth flex play for this week is Tee Higgins. Higgins had a great bounce-back week in week 15. Higgins gave fantasy managers 20 fantasy points last week in half-PPR formats. He produced four receptions out of eight targets for 61 yards and two touchdowns. I see him continuing to trend up this week with the absence of Jamarr Chase. Jake Browning has also been surprisingly solid since taking over for Joe Burrow. Against this Steeler’s defense that is middle of the pack against the pass, giving up 225 yards per game in the air, you can fire up Tee Higgins and expect a WR2 outing.

#5 Courtland Sutton Vs. The Patriots

With the Broncos having no one else who has been consistently reliable in their wide receiver corp., Sutton has been that guy all season. He is guaranteed at least one touchdown a game. That will be the same this week as well. Even though the Pats have a pretty good pass defense, that will not stop Sutton from his usual trip to paydirt. He is Russell Wilson’s most reliable receiver, and just on that fact alone, he will make for a good flex option for this week, giving managers a solid WR3 performance.
