This is Preston Evans, your Fantasy Homeboy here to give you my Fantasy Football FLEX Plays for Week 15 (2023)!
It’s playoff time; good luck with all your leagues!!!! So, I hope these options can help you survive the one-and-done season. You can catch all of my content on Twitter/X @PJ2082 and check out all of the great content by our outstanding crew on the Fantasy In Frames website and on YouTube. Let’s get down to business.
#1 Ty Chandler Vs. The Bengals
My first flex option is going to be Ty Chandler. Alexander Mattison has been ruled out of this week’s contest against the Bengals due to an ankle injury in week 14. This means that Chandler could be in line for a lot of work. The Bengals rank 25th against the run this year, giving up 127 yards per game to opposing offenses. There is not a lot behind Chandler that could challenge him for work, so it could be a pretty solid day for him this week. You can feel safe with him in your flex spot this week.
#2 Antonio Gibson Vs. The Rams
My second flex option is Antonio Gibson. Playing Gibson any other week with Brian Robinson in the lineup is always a risk. This week, Robinson is ruled out with a hamstring injury. Now, the Rams are pretty good at stopping the run. They are ranked 17th at doing so, but with Gibson’s pass-catching chops and him seeing the field a little more because of Robinson’s absence, he could be a nice flex option for the week.
#3 Jerick McKinnon Vs. The Patriots
It looks like it is McKinnon time again. Last week, McKinnon racked up 11 points in half PPR formats. Pacheco will miss another week due to his shoulder injury, so that will give Edwards-Helarie and McKinnon another week at a shared workload. While Edwards-Helarie will probably see most of the snaps, McKinnon normally gets all of the valuable touches and will likely be the one to see the red zone work and play a part in the receiving game. Fire up McKinnon this week against the stingy Pats run defense if you are in a tight pinch.
#4 Zay Flowers Vs. The Jaguars
My fourth flex option for the week is Zay Flowers. He has been great for the Ravens this season. This season, when the team has been without Mark Andrews, Zay Flowers has been on the field for at least 90 percent of the snaps. He has received 24 percent of the team’s targets. I don’t see any of this work changing this week, as Flowers has become a reliable target for Jackson. The Jaguars are ranked 31st against the pass this season, I think Flowers will have a great day this week. FIRE UP FLOWERS and expect a WR2 performance.
#5 Jaxon Smith-Njigba Vs. The Eagles
JSN will be a locked-in smash flex play this week for fantasy teams. They are playing the pass-friendly Eagles this week, and JSN has had a huge uptick in snaps at the back end of this season. In the past two games, he has seen 11 and seven targets against tough matchups. This week, they have a sweet matchup against the Eagles. The Eagles are ranked 28th against the pass. They will have a problem stopping all three of the Seahawks’ receivers, meaning someone will eat. The defense will have their hands full with Metcalf, so I believe many targets will go JSN’s way. Fire up JSN and be prepared for WR3 results.
