Welcome to our IDP Fantasy Football Starts for Week Two of the 2022 fantasy football season!
Unlike our Fantasy Football Starts & Sits for Week Two players on offense, given the broad range of IDP scoring settings available to people that can throw a player’s perceived value through a loop, for our IDP section, we’ll just be recommending to you players you should consider starting this week based on IDP scoring format as well as output potential. So sit back, relax and enjoy our IDP Fantasy Football Starts for Week Two
Defensive Backs
START: Richie Grant versus The Los Angeles Rams
Look for Grant to capitalize off of his 10 TT performance in Week One by seeing plenty of volume against this Rams team that’ll be looking to bounce back from their opening night embarrassment.
Additional Starting Candidates: Jaquon Brisker vs. The Green Bay Packers and Xavier Woods vs. The New York Giants
Defensive Lineman/EDGE
START: Rashan Gary versus The Chicago Bears
Going against a sub-standard Bears offensive line, Gary will continue to dominate rushing the passer as he did last week. The 8th best pressure-causing EDGE rusher is fantastic play in leagues that reward allow points for QB HITS as well!
Additional Starting Candidates: Sam Hubbard versus The Dallas Cowboys, Montez Sweat versus The Detroit Lions, and Justin Houston versus The Miami Dolphins.
Linebackers
START: Divine Deablo versus The Arizona Cardinals
Back in 2021 with no one standing in his place due to injury, a similar situation to right now, Divine Deablo posted 12.5% tackle rate and a VERY LOW 2.6% tackle rate. He was the LB21 in total tackles from Weeks 13-18 with 25 solo to 15 assisted. While efficiency isn’t a lock, week in and week out, in terms of performance, it IS a lock for providing opportunity. With a Cardinals’ offense in a sense of confusion right now, Deablo should see plenty of volume this week, and even if he only had a 10% tackle rate, he should still be LB2/3 worthy for you.
Additional Starting Candidates: Cody Barton vs. The San Francisco 49ers, Dre Greenlaw vs. The Seattle Seahawks, and Devin Lloyd vs. The Indianapolis Colts
