Welcome to our IDP Fantasy Football Starts for Week 10 of the 2022 fantasy football season!
Unlike our Fantasy Football Starts & Sits on offense, given the broad range of IDP scoring settings available to people that can throw a player’s perceived value through a loop, for our IDP section, we’ll just be recommending to you players you should consider starting this week based on the potential for high statistical output and positional 1,2, or 3 relevance assuming you’re rolling three deep on your starting roster per positional designation. So sit back, relax and enjoy our IDP Fantasy Football Starts for Week 10!
Defensive Backs
START: Julian Love versus The Houston Texans

I see Julian Love picking up right where he left off from two weeks ago where he posted 7 total tackles and 9 fantasy points when he helps to stop Dameon Pierce and this Texans rushing attack this week. Linebacker is still a weakspot for this team and Love who predominantly plays close to the line of scrimmage this season will be tasked with shutting this Texans’ running game down. Over the past month Love has averaged 13.2 pts per game. Look for that type of production this week.
START: Duron Harmon versus The Indianapolis Colts
DURON HARMON WAS THINKING SIX 💨

With the release of Jonathan Abrams and injuries along the linebacking corps, someone is going to have to help slow down the Colts’ running game this week. That someone is new/old strong safety Duron Harmon. Playing a majority of his snaps this season close to the line of scrimmage, his tackle per snap ratio is bound to get a dramatic boost going forward this season, starting with what I believe will be a Top DB30 performance in Week 10.
Additional Starting Candidates: Roger McCreary vs. The Denver Broncos and Damar Hamlin vs. The Minnesota Vikings
Defensive Lineman
START: Khalil Mack versus The San Francisco 49ers
KHALIL MACK JUST TOOK IT FROM HIM 😳

Mike McGlinchy of the 49ers is the anti-Trent Williams along that offensive line in San Francisco. He has allowed the most pressures of any offensive lineman on the team with 14 and the most sacks with 5.
Khalil Mack should be in for a decent day this week.
START: Jerry Hughes versus The New York Giants
Jerry Hughes!!

Hughes has been traveling on both sides of the defensive line all season which could pose problems for Giants tackle Tyre Phillips. Phillips started playing for an injured Evan Neal starting in Week 8 where he gave up two sacks. Hughes has 7 sacks on the season and last week got two on the ever elusive Jalen Hurts. If you’re concerned about Daniel Jones’ moblity, read my last sentence. HE HAD TWO SACK ON JALEN HURTS! Hughes should get you another fantastic double-digit performance this week.
Additional Starting Candidates: Uchenna Nwosu vs. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Haason Reddick vs. The Washington Commanders
Linebackers
START: Drue Tranquill versus The San Francisco 49ers
#Chargers experimented more with Derwin James at EDGE vs ATL. You'll see a 6-1 front with James at EDGE2 and Drue Tranquill as the sole linebacker, particularly in the second half.

Something to monitor ahead of SNF @ SF and until Joey Bosa returns. pic.twitter.com/VmlP0FIr5H
Coming off of a 10 total tackle, 1 sack performance in Week 9 versus the Falcons, Tranquill should be in line for another solid outing versus the run-heavy 49ers offense. Averaging 16 fantasy points per game over the past month it seem that Tranquill is just starting to hit his stride. With him being the primary linebacker on the field on most plays, volume will be the greatest benefit for IDP managers who have him rostered.
START: Jamin Davis versus The Philadelphia Eagles
Big stop by Jamin Davis 🤝 pic.twitter.com/WacRYcZBrX
— NBC Sports Commanders (@NBCSCommanders) October 30, 2022
Without fellow linebacker Cole Holcomb on the field the past two weeks, Jamin Davis has been remarkably consistent in terms of tackle performance. He’s been the third best rated defender on the team per PFF, he’s had close to a 10% tackle rate over all, and a 23.9% tackle rate when playing against the run. He’s pretty much been the model example of a solid streaming option. He’s a solid LB3 this week and going against a Philly team in which he posted 6 TT, 2 sacks, and 18.25 fantasy points back in Week 3 he has solid LB2 upside for you this week!
Additional Starting Candidates: Demario Davis vs. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Deion Jones vs. The Miami Dolphins
