Two studs and two duds for us in Week 6 as Jaylen Waddle and Cole Beasley balled out in losses, whilst Chris Conley and Van Jefferson hardly appeared on the stat-sheet. Here are my WR3 / FLEX options for Week 7.
Allen Lazard – Green Bay Packers

Here’s his first TD of the season from last Sunday:pic.twitter.com/UJ7umGa6Zv
Davante Adams gets the majority of the targets in this Packers offense, but against a Washington Football Team secondary that grades 31st in coverage vs WRs, there should be an opportunity for another pass-catcher to get in on the act. Lazard hasn’t had the most productive season to this point but has seemingly made the WR2 spot his own in recent weeks as he’s claimed 85% of the offensive snaps in back-to-back games and scored his first TD of the season last week.
Tyler Johnson – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The absence of Antonio Brown has opened up a starting WR berth in the Tampa Bay offense, and Tyler Johnson should find himself filling that opening. The 2nd year pass-catcher had the best game of his career in 2020 against Chicago, catching 4 passes for 61 yards, and has every chance to better those numbers against the same opposition this Sunday. Chicago grade out as the third-worst secondary in coverage vs receivers and with Mike Evens and Chris Godwin commanding the majority of the attention, Tyler Johnson could have himself a career day.
Brandon Aiyuk – San Francisco 49ers

Third time lucky hopefully with Brandon Aiyuk in this series. The second-year wideout was one of the FF expert’s darlings this offseason, but after being benched in Week 1 has had an unspectacular start to the campaign. The hope here is that after their bye last week, San Francisco have realized their passing game needs improvement, and an athlete like Aiyuk is just the guy to add an explosive element to the attack. The Colts allowed a predominantly run-first offense to throw all over them in Week 5 as Lamar Jackson threw for over 400 yards. Shanahan has had an extra week to watch the tape and prepare for a secondary that has had trouble stopping teams through the air. If Aiyuk isn’t heavily involved here, I will start to worry about his future in the Bay.
Marquez Callaway – New Orleans Saints
After a strong outing in Week 5 followed by a bye week, Marquez Callaway will be looking forward to picking up where he left off on MNF against a Seattle Seahawks secondary that sits inside the bottom 10 for coverage vs receivers, according to PFF. Callaway had by far and away his most productive outing of the season in Week 5 as he scored two TDs on 4 receptions for 85 yards and will have the opportunity aplenty to show out again, this time in prime time.
