Favorable Wide Receiver Matchups for Week 11 (2021)

Each week Fantasy In Frames is highlighting key wide receiver matchups to take advantage of. Here are four favorable wide receiver matchups for Week 11!

Not too much success for our picks last week, but with some injuries and trades opening up spots on multiple offenses, we’re hopeful at least one of these guys can take advantage of their new reality and help us to a FF win in Week 11.

Robby Anderson – Carolina Panthers

The 2020 success has found life a little harder in 2021. The connection with former Jets QB Sam Darnold hasn’t been there, but Darnold’s injury and the signing of former MVP Cam Newton may have just revitalized what has looked like a lost season. Anderson found the endzone last week against the Cardinals and posted his highest catch % in a game all season. He’s a worthwhile WR3 / FLEX play against a WFT side that’s struggled to cover pass-catchers all year.

Marcus Johnson – Tennessee Titans

The 5-year veteran is yet to taste defeat as a member of the Tennessee Titans and impressed in place of the injured Julio Jones. Johnson caught five of his six targets for 100 yards in last week’s win over New Orleans and should be on your radar as he faces a Houston Texans side whose secondary grades as the worst in the NFL for Coverage vs Receivers, according to PFF.

Jarvis Landry – Cleveland Browns

The slot receiver has been settling back into the offense slowly since returning from injury in Week 9, but the release of OBJ means Landry is once again the alpha in the passing game. Cleveland needs a bounce-back performance after being embarrassingly blown out, and they’ll have the perfect opportunity to do so against the winless Lions. Detroit also grade out as the 31st ranked team in the NFL in Defensive Coverage vs Receivers, according to PFF.

Jaylen Waddle – Miami Dolphins

Yet another appearance on this list for the rookie speedster, the former Alabama pass-catcher, has had a steady rookie campaign, at times playing as the #1 WR in an offense without Davante Parker. He’ll once again take that mantle in Parker’s absence against a New York Jets secondary who grade inside the bottom 3 for Defensive Coverage Vs Receivers.
