With that out of the way, let’s get down to business and discuss some of the most favorable IDP matchups for Week 9 of the 2021 fantasy football season!
Randy Gregory (EDGE)-Dallas Cowboys

β Dallas Cowboys (@dallascowboys) November 1, 2021
From Weeks 6-8, Randy Gregory was the DL5 in FantasyPros PPG average with 14.3 fantasy points and the DL10 in sacks with three. In Week 8 versus Minnesota, Gregory was the EDGE Rusher (ED) 15 in total pressures on opposing quarterbacks. This week Denver starting left tackle, Garrett Bolles, will be out due to injury. As a result, it looks like Calvin Anderson will be taking over for him according to the Broncos’ most recent unofficial depth chart. Anderson, who has only played 10 pass-blocking snaps this season is the worst graded tackle for the Broncos, per PFF.
Translation: It doesn’t take 4-EYES to see Gregory is in line for another big week for your fantasy team. Start him with confidence!
Linebackers
Demario Davis (ILB)-New Orleans Saints

Ever since I started Fantasy In Frames back in 2017, Demario Davis has been one of my favorite linebackers in IDP fantasy football. Maybe it’s because he’s a monster at blowing up plays left and right. Maybe it’s because he’s liked and retweeted some of my complimentary tweets over the years. Maybe a combination of both? Either way, Davis looks to be in line for another solid outing as he faces the Atlanta Falcons this week. He’s thrived on the season when facing dual-threat running backs. Versus Carolina, Washington, and Seattle this season he’s averaged 22.5 fantasy points per game using FantasyPros IDP scoring. He leads all linebackers on the Saints in Run Stopping % and will look to continue his fantasy hot streak in Week 9. Start this #TackleMachine with confidence!
Cory Littleton (ILB)-Las Vegas Raiders

β Chris Reed (@ChrisReed_NFL) September 25, 2021
Among linebackers who’ve played at minimum 120 snaps against the run this season, Corey Littleton ranks as the LB21 on the season. Heβs been averaging 11.3 fantasy points per game. Also this season, he’s the LB26 in overall defensive grade, according to PFF. In fact, this has been the best he’s been ranked since coming over from the L.A. Rams a season ago. The talent is there, folks, and going against the 22nd ranked run-blocking unit in the NFL he has the upside to provide you with a solid fantasy point floor this week.
I know he burned you in 2020, he burned all of us in IDP. However, this week join him on his way to redemption.
Defensive Backs
Jayron Kearse (S)-Dallas Cowboys

Find me someone who doesn’t get excited watching that clip and I’ll show you a liar. Kearse, the DB6 in Run Stopping % will go against a Broncos team that is currently the 24th ranked run-blocking unit in the NFL. In fact, Denver allows the 5th most fantasy points to safeties so far this season all but ensuring that Kearse in is line for another solid outing this week, coming off a 6 tackle, 10.8 fantasy point performance against Minnesota.
