This week we’ll be taking a look at the upcoming slate of NFL games and giving you our take on which players have some favorable IDP matchups for Week 17 that you should insert into your lineups for Championship Week of the fantasy football playoffs here in 2021!
Yetur Gross-Matos (DL)-Carolina Panthers
The Panthers’ defensive line should be able to tee off on the 12th worst pass-blocking unit of the Saints this week; one of the big beneficiaries: Yetur Gross-Matos. Averaging 11 fppg the past three weeks, Matos should continue his impressive run as he faces off against Saints interior offensive line which boasts some of the lowest-rated guards in terms of pass-blocking according to PFF. It’s a championship week and expect a championship effort from Matos this week.

1. Micah Parsons – 92.6
2. Frankie Luvu – 90.5
3. Darius Leonard – 87.0
4. Devin Bush – 79.6
5. David Long – 79.0
6. Jordan Hicks – 78.6

Having not played since Week 10, Long will look to pick up from his LB13 overall ranking which saw him have the 4th most solo tackles amongst linebackers averaging 13.9 fppg during Weeks 3-9. This week, Long and the Titans take on the Dolphins which are middle of the road in terms of fantasy points allowed to ILBs. However, volume and time of possession should help provide solid LB2 production this week for Long in your championship matchups.

Out the past two games, Kemu returns to the starting middle linebacker position for the Texans just in time try and hault the 49ers rushing attack. Prior to his two game abscence, from Weeks 11-14, Kemu averaged 21.7 fantasy points per game as the LB1 overall during that time period as well as second in solo tackles and interceptions amongst linebackers. For those needing a championship sealing performance from a trusted and reliable linebacker, look no farther than Kemu.
Jeremy Reaves (DB)-Washington Football Team

Since taking over the starting strong safety position for Landon Collins a couple of weeks back, Reaves has been the DB9 in fantasy points per game averaging 15.6 pts on 23 total tackles (15 solo). With Philly’s re-commitment to the running game in recent weeks look for the tackle volume to be there for Reaves providing you with solid DB2/DB1 upside in Week 17.
