This week we’ll be taking a look at the upcoming slate of NFL games and giving you our take on which players have some favorable IDP matchups for Week 12 of the 2021 fantasy football season.
Jonathan Greenard (DL)- Houston Texans
Highest PFF graded edge defenders through Week 11:
— Mike Kennedy (@MikeKennedyNFL) November 24, 2021
1) Maxx Crosby, 92.2
2) Myles Garrett, 91.9
3) TJ Watt, 89.8
4) Nick Bosa, 87.9
5) Josh Allen, 87.2
6) Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, 86.5
7) Randy Gregory, 86.4
8) Von Miller, 86.0
9) Jonathan Greenard, 84.5
10) Marcus Davenport, 84.1 pic.twitter.com/e5iITnaSnX
Since Week 5, Jonathan Greenard has finished as a DL11 in IDP fantasy points per game using FantasyPros IDP scoring with a average of 15.1 points. Among defensive lineman, during that time, Greenard has DL10 in solo tackles (17) and ranks as the DL10 in sacks (6). This week he faces Jets where he should have a great mismatch going against Morgan Moses who, according to PFF, has allow the 3rd most pressures and QB hits since Week 8. While Greenard has flipped back and forth between left and right EDGE over the course of the season, the mismatch for this game is versus Morgan Moses. Look for Greenard to come back from injury strong and help out your defensive lineman/EDGE rusher spot this week.
Joe Schobert (LB)- Pittsburgh Steelers
The LB49 on the season in total FantasyPros IDP point scored, the former Top 10 linebacker in IDP fantasy football during his time in Cleveland and Jacksonville, Schobert during Weeks 8-11 has jumped up to the LB24 in total points averaging 11.1 fantasy points per game and solo tackles. This week the inside linebacker takes on a run-heavy offense in that of the Cleveland Browns. The last time these two teams faced off this season, Schobert finished as the LB20 in fantasy points with 15.3. With the return of Kareem Hunt back to the lineup for Cleveland, look for the running game to be heavily emphasized by the Browns setting up Schobert for a solid total tackle game and fantasy performance.
Xavier Woods (DB)- Minnesota Vikings
ROCKED.

During the most recent quarter of the season, Woods is the DB6 in solo tackles (20) and DB7 in fantasy points scored (51.3/12.8 fppg). Since Week 8, Woods has been transitioning to playing more time at strong safety, playing at that position at an increase from zero to 50%. Look for that to continue this week against a 49ers team that has had a passing aDOT of 8.6 yards and team rushing yards per attempt value of 3.1 yards from Weeks 8-11, all of which in his recent playmaking wheel house given his average depth of tackle of 5.5 yards during that same timespan.
