Welcome to Week 11 fantasy football! Last week I nailed my call on sitting Adam Thielen and Tyler Lockett in tough matchups. Unfortunately, I whiffed again on Michael Carter who finished last week as an RB2 and I had him as my sit of the week. Now, we head to Week 11 Fantasy Football matchups!

Quarterbacks
Start: Mac Jones, New England Patriots against the Atlanta Falcons
Jones turned in a QB1 performance against the Cleveland Browns last week and it looks like momentum is on the rookie’s side. This week, he takes on the Falcons who are giving up the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. Their defense has given up at least 20 points to opposing quarterbacks in each of their last two games and one of those players was Trevor Siemian.

Ryan Tannehill against the Houston Texans, Justin Herbert against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Derek Carr against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Sit: Carson Wentz, Indianapolis Colts against the Buffalo Bills
The Bills have given up fewer than 18 fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks in each week since Week 6. Wentz enters this game as the overall QB11 in fantasy football. He has shown spurts of his former self, but he hasn’t sustained it. In a tough matchup, you should sit Carson Wentz.

Cam Newton against the Washington Football Team, Justin Fields against the Baltimore Ravens, and Jimmy Garoppolo against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Running Backs
Start: AJ Dillon, Green Bay Packers against the Minnesota Vikings
Starting running back Aaron Jones is going to miss time with an injury. That means it is QUADFather o’clock for the Packers. Dillon has played well as a backup and even scored the team’s only two touchdowns in their game last week. He is going to see a huge uptick in usage. The Vikings are giving up the 11th most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs so combine usage with the matchup and you have startability.

Mark Ingram against the Philadelphia Eagles, Rhamondre Stevenson against the Atlanta Falcons, and Elijah Mitchell against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Sit: Devin Singletary, Buffalo Bills against the Indianapolis Colts
Singeltary was a start of mine last week and finished as the overall RB22 in half-PPR leagues coming in as a low-end RB2. I think that range is his ceiling for the rest of the season, but unfortunately, he won’t get there this week. The Colts are giving up the second-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. They haven’t given up more than 17 points in a game all season, and they won’t start now.

Myles Gaskin against the New York Jets, D’Ernest Johnson against the Detroit Lions, and Kenyan Drake against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Wide Receivers
Start: Marquise Brown, Baltimore Ravens against the Chicago Bears
I had Brown as my start of the week last week and he let me down in a great matchup against the Dolphins. I am ready to get hurt again. Brown is going to bounce back against a battered Bears secondary. They are giving up the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers and they don’t have the speed to contend with Brown. I expect a big week from Brown and I don’t think he repeats his performance from last week.

Brandin Cooks against the Tennessee Titans, Emmanuel Sanders against the Indianapolis Colts, and Jaylen Waddle against the New York Jets.
Sit: Diontae Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers against the Los Angeles Chargers
I nearly went with Adam Thielen here again, but that would have been copying the wide receiver section from last week. So, Johnson, it is. Ben Roethlisberger is still on the Covid list and so Rudolph may get the call in this one. Yuck. Johnson admitted he needs to be better and he isn’t wrong. Also, the Chargers’ defense is solid and they are giving up the second-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers.

Adam Thielen against the Green Bay Packers, Tee Higgins against the Las Vegas Raiders, and Christian Kirk against the Seattle Seahawks.
Tight Ends
Start: Hunter Henry, New England Patriots against the Atlanta Falcons
There’s a chance that Henry is the tight end in New England and that is exciting. I feel like the second we commit to Henry they are going to pivot to Jonnu. Henry is coming off a four reception outing for 37 yards and two touchdowns. It seems that quarterback Mac Jones realized his best weapon in the passing game and hopefully he keeps going back to the well.

Pat Freiermuth against the Los Angeles Chargers, Dan Arnold against the San Francisco 49ers, and Tyler Conklin against the Green Bay Packers.
Sit: Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons against the New England Patriots
This pick comes down to the fact that the Patriots’ defense is good and they are going to focus all of their attention on Pitts. Running back Cordarelle Patterson is week-to-week with an injury. That leaves the Falcons with literally no other playmakers that the defense is going to have to worry about. The Pats are already giving up the fewest fantasy points per game to tight ends and I think Pitts gets shut down.

Dallas Goedert against the New Orleans Saints, Mo Alie-Cox against the Buffalo Bills, and Evan Engram against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Defensive Linemen
Start: Quinnen Williams, New York Jets against the Miami Dolphins
Williams hasn’t been the most fantasy-friendly DL, but his matchup is one of the best in the league this week. The Dolphins have a sub-par run and pass blocking offensive line. According to PFF, they are the worst pass-blocking team and the third-worst run blocking team. Williams should be able to plug the middle of the line like he enjoys doing and should be in the backfield against Tua early and often.

Cameron Heyward against the Los Angeles Chargers, Jeffrey Simmons against the Houston Texans, and DeForest Buckner against the Buffalo Bills.
Linebackers
Start: Devin White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the New York Giants
Devin White went absolutely nuts last week with 38.8 fantasy points. he had 13 tackles, 5 assisted tackles, and two sacks. White is going to ride this momentum into this week against the Giants. Saquon Barkley is expected to be back for the Giants and this actually benefits the versatile White. He will be used to shut down the middle of the field as well as spy on Barkley to limit his running production.

Denzel Perryman against the Cincinnati Bengals, Micah Parsons against the Kansas City Chiefs, and Foyesade Oluokun against the New England Patriots.
Defensive Backs
Start: Jalen Thompson, Arizona Cardinals against the Seattle Seahawks
Thompson finished as the overall DB5 last week after a solid week of 5 tackles, four assisted tackles, a pass deflection, and an interception. He is tied for third in tackles among defensive backs. He should get plenty of work this week shadowing the tandem of DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.
