1. Wan’dale Robinson Vs. Miami Dolphins
I know it was hard to watch that offense this past weekend and I know it’s been hard to watch most of the season so this might be a little stretch. Since Robinson has been back on the field from his 2022 season-ending injury he has seen 11 targets and has caught nine of them. For the past two weeks, Daniel Jones has been having constant pressure in his face and has relied on Robinson as his bailout. Miami is ranked 25th against the pass and has given up 251 yards per game. Wan’dale put up 7.5 fantasy points last week against Seattle and I see an uptick in that plus targets because the G-Men could possibly be playing catch up.
2. Micheal Wilson Vs. The Bengals
Since week one, I have been having my eye on Wilson. He has been a solid rookie receiver for this offense, seeing a 68.1% snap share. He is second on the team in air yards and third on the team in targets, with not too big of a gap between him and Rondale Moore. He is also ranked #2 in yards per reception in the league. He has seen an uptick in fantasy points every week and last week had his coming-out party with 76 yards and two touchdowns against the stingy 49ers defense. He will continue to be used in this offense and be a smash play for at least 10 fantasy points in Half-PPR formats but I see those points rising as the year goes on.
3. Jordan Addison Vs. The Chiefs
Last week, Addison put up a goose egg. Only receiving one target. I do not see that as being the norm for him. With this game possibly being a shootout with the Chiefs, Addison is almost a lock to be involved. The Chiefs, like every other team, are going to do everything in their power to put the breaks on Justin Jefferson, which should free up Addison. Even with the last game, Addison is still number 2 in target share on the team, with 19 targets going into week 5. He is averaging 9.2 Half PPR points per game and could have a high ceiling this week in what could be a shootout.
4. Terrace Marshall Vs. The Lions
Marshall would not be a bad flex play for this week. Bye weeks have started, and choices are a little limited. The Panthers are playing a pretty good pass defense in the Lions, giving up an average of 219 passing yards per game. On the upside, Marshall has been on the field for about 63% of the snaps. That’s not a huge percentage, but he is receiving the second-most targets on the team. His usage has increased weekly, and he hauled in nine out of 10 targets last week. This was the most targets he has seen in a game this season. Looks like they have found a way to get Marshall the ball. In deeper leagues, this is a decent option in your flex position.
5. Tyler Boyd Vs. The Cardinals
This should be a no-brainer, history shows us that when either Chase or Higgins isn’t on the field or 100% Tyler Boyd is normally the recipient of those vacated targets. Higgins is dealing with a rib injury this week and might not see the field this weekend. The Bengals have not looked like themselves this season so far. Burrow is still dealing with his calf injury from training camp has limited the ceiling of this whole offense. One good thing about playing Boyd is that most of his work comes in the slot, which also means he is closer to the line of scrimmage for most of his targets. Boyd has a 95% route participation rate, which will probably go up with the possible absence of Higgins. Boyd has run 164 of his routes from the slot. Again, this could prove to be valuable because a hampered Burrow can’t do too much down-the-field work. Fire up Boyd with confidence this week if Higgins can’t go or is limited.
