Fantasy Football Waiver Wire for Week 11 (2023)

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire for Week 11 (2023) | Fantasy In Frames

Welcome to our eleventh Waiver Wire article at Fantasy In Frames for the 2023 fantasy football season!

At this point in the NFL Fantasy Football season, your waiver wire articles should typically help you focus on adding depth pieces to your rosters rather than flat-out starters as the bye weeks start to wind down. However, as we all know, injuries happen, and opportunities can arise at a moment’s notice. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, there are plenty of both starting options and depth pieces you should invest in heading into Week 11. Therefore, check out my Fantasy Football Waiver Wire recommendations for Week 11 (2023), and find out who can help you out NOW and potentially down the stretch of the season.

  1. Jameis Winston
  • Due to a shoulder injury and concussion on Sunday, Derek Carr was taken out of the Saints/Vikings game, and in came Jameis Winston. Winston immediately came in and found a rapport with number one wide receiver Chris Olave, peppering him with five targets in the 4th quarter.
  • You know what you’re getting out of Jameis Winston: high yardage totals, a few interceptions, and a few touchdowns per game. In one quarter alone, he posted 10.9 fantasy points.
  • If Derek Carr were to miss any time, given the wide receiver position alone on the Saints, Winston IMMEDIATELY falls into the mid-QB2 discussion, given his downfield passing tendencies indicative of his career average depth of target.
  1. Will Levis
  • In terms of team defenses Will Levis will face over the next three weeks, the Jaguars, Panthers, and Colts allow the 5th, 28th, and 8th most passing yards to opposing offenses on the season thus far. That equates to 266.8, 176, and 228.8 Y/G, respectively, by all three teams.
  • He is not a must-start by any stretch of the imagination; however, he statistically has the potential for solid passing production heading into the fantasy football playoffs if your Quarterback goes down due to injury.
  1. Devin Singletary
  • 30 attempts for 150 and a touchdown for 22.6 half-PPR points on Sunday should certainly perk up the attention of those who still have Devin Singletary available on the league’s waiver wire.
  • His 5.0 yards per carry average on Sunday is a metric value that starter Dameon Pierce hasn’t come close to reaching this season.
  • The Texans face the Cardinals in Week 11, who allow the 3rd most fantasy points to the position. If Pierce misses another game, insert Singletary into your lineup again and expect upside!
  1. Antonio Gibson
  • Both Brian Robinson AND Antonio Gibson have had decent involvement in Washington’s passing game in recent weeks.
  • Since Week 8, Antonio Gibson has averaged 7.0 yards after the catch per reception, is 4th on the team in receiving targets with 16, and is second behind Brian Robinson amongst ALL SKILL PLAYERS ON THE TEAM with yards after the catch with 105 yards.
  • Both running backs are becoming valuable in half and full PPR leagues once again, and it is Gibson who is more than likely still available in your league’s waiver wire out of the two. Roster him now!
  1. Zach Charbonnet
  • Over the past three weeks, Zach Charbonnet has been the Seahawks more efficient running back.
  • Versus Kenneth Walker over the past three weeks, Charbonnet leads in several important statistical categories such as yards per carry (7.0 vs. 4.03), yards after contact per attempt (3.87 vs. 2.08 ), 1st Downs (8 vs. 3), and yards after contact (89 vs. 56). The most important if any category has been playing time or snaps (38-18).
  • Charbonnet is starting to close the gap between him and Walker from a fantasy scoring perspective as well, making him a worthy FLEX option in most leagues and must be added off of waivers this week.
  1. Noah Brown
  • It’s almost like the wide receiving group from the Houston Texans can be inserted for one another at a moment’s notice and have immediate fantasy success. It helps when your quarterback is slinging it all over the field. The latest beneficiary in back-to-back weeks has been Noah Brown.
  • Subbing in for the injured Nico Collins in Weeks 9 & 10, Brown is number one amongst ALL receiving options on the team during that time span in receiving yards (325), receiving yards per game (162.5), fantasy points per game in half-PPR (22.5), and catch rate (92.9%)
  • Look, folks, it’s pretty simple. If you have Tank Dell, Dalton Schultz, Nico Collins, and now Noah Brown on your rosters, you are in a good spot when it comes to starting and FLEX options going forward. At 36% rostered on Sleeper, he is a must-add this week.
  1. Jayden Reed
  • Will The Real Number One Wide Receiver for The Green Bay Packers PLEASE STAND UP?! If you don’t roster Jayden Reed this week, you’re gonna have a problem here.
  • Yes, I just paraphrased one of the greatest rappers of my generation, Eminem (FIGHT ME ON THAT, I DARE YOU), and just like Slim Shady, you should be Friends with This Monster on your fantasy rosters.
  • Since Week 8, Reed has led the WR room in yardage (186), receptions (12), receiving yards per game (62), catch rate (85.7), and fantasy points per game in half PPR scoring (10.9).
  • Follow the performance, follow the consistency, and follow Jayden Reed from your league’s waiver wire to your rosters this week.
  1. Michael Wilson
  • In Kyler Murray’s first game back since tearing his ACL last season, we saw Murray post an impressive 30.8 aDOT (average depth of target), which is good for Michael Wilson, who, on the season, has been the primary deep threat at WR for the Arizona Cardinals.
  • Both Wilson and Rondale Moore were tied as the primary first reads for Murray all game long in Week 10.
  • While the Wilson and Murray connection is still fresh in the desert, Wilson is worth a speculative add this week as a homerun receiving option paired with a deep throwing quarterback usually ends up working well for fantasy managers.
  1. Luke Musgrave
  • Luke Musgrave leads all receiving options on the Packers over the past three weeks in yards after the catch per receptions, 2nd yards after the catch, 3rd in receiving snaps, and is the TE15 in all of fantasy football during that time frame.
  • Musgrave and The Packers face The Chargers in Week 11, who allow, on average, 11.7 fantasy points per game to the position. Roster and start Musgrave this week.
  1. Logan Thomas
  • The TE13 over the past three weeks, Logan Thomas is right behind Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson in that time span in targets with 19 and first in yards after the catch.
  • Sam Howell is producing enough passing volume on the team to make Logan Thomas a viable TE option from week to week, and while he faces a tough test against the Giants in Week 11, he should have no problem at least reaching his floor and projected point total of 7.4 points.
  1. Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Look, they got rocked by SF on Sunday, but this week, they get the Tennessee Titans, who are the 5th worst passing yardage team in the NFL. The Buccaneers DST just put up 13 points facing the Titans, which had them as the DST 5 on the week.
  • Fire up the Jags this week.
