IDP Fantasy Football Starts for Week 6 (2022)
Welcome to our IDP Fantasy Football Starts for Week 6 of the 2022 fantasy football season!
Unlike our Fantasy Football Starts & Sits on offense, given the broad range of IDP scoring settings available to people that can throw a player’s perceived value through a loop, for our IDP section, we’ll just be recommending to you players you should consider starting this week based on the potential for high statistical output and positional 1,2, or 3 relevance assuming you’re rolling three deep on your starting roster per positional designation. So sit back, relax and enjoy our IDP Fantasy Football Starts for Week 6!
Defensive Backs
START: Grant Delpit versus The New England Patriots
The New England Patriots come to town this week with a one-dimensional offensive agenda, and one of the primary benefactors on this defense should be Grant Delpit. Leading all defensive backs on the Browns with in-the-box snaps Delpit should have one more consistent week of production until newly acquired LB Deion Jones is up and running.
Additional Starting Candidates: Mike Edwards versus The Pittsburgh Steelers and Rayshawn Jenkins versus The Indianapolis Colts
Defensive Lineman
START: Matt Judon versus The Cleveland Browns
Jack Conklin will have his hands full with Matt Judon this week. Judon rankings, according to PFF, as the 8th most disruptive pass rusher in the NFL, is 5th as a DL in fantasy points per game with a 12.1 average according to Fantasy Pros, has at least one sack in every game this season. Make sure to take advantage of dual-position availability and insert this linebacker into your DL spot immediately
Additional Starting Candidates: Brian Burns versus The LA Rams and Quinnen Williams versus The Green Bay Packers
Linebackers
START: Quay Walker versus The New York Jets
Consistency, consistency, consistency! As we enter these buy weeks, consistency is what you want and no other rookie linebacker has been more consistent than rookie Quay Walker of the Green Bay Packers. While his tackle floor and, thus fantasy floor, is capped due to De’Vondre Campbell roaming the field with him, Walker is a SOLID LB2/3 this week versus a Jets team that has realized their best chance to succeed is to run the ball. Great news for an ILB like Walker.
Additional Starting Candidates: Dre Greenlaw versus the Atlanta Falcons and Shaq Thompson versus the LA Rams
