We are already 5 weeks into the NFL season, yet there is still value to be had on the waiver wire. Here is your guide for who are the MAJOR Waiver Wire Adds in Week 6.

QBs

Geno Smith (Seattle Seahawks)

Consensus Rostership: 33.6%, Week 6 Matchup: Arizona Cardinals

Smith has somehow been an upgrade for the Seahawks since trading Russell Wilson to Denver. He’s top 5 in completion percentage with the best PFF grades in offense and passing among all QBs. This Seahawks offense leads the league in their team PFF grades passing and receiving. With elite receivers like DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett to throw to, expect more of the same from Geno Smith this season.

Daniel Jones (New York Giants)

Consensus Rostership: 17.7, Week 6 Matchup: Baltimore Ravens

The Daboll era seems to be in full effect for the Giants, and their QB might be a big part of it. Through the first 5 weeks, Jones has a top-15 completion percentage and only 2 interceptions, that’s less than Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, and Aaron Rodgers. Also, Jones’ running ability gives him added fantasy value that not many waiver wire QBs have. If the defense continues to play well, Jones might be the diamond in the rough this season.

RBs

Ken Walker III (Seattle Seahawks)

Consensus Rostership: 45.9%, Week 6 Matchup: Arizona Cardinals

Rashaad Penny will, unfortunately, miss the rest of the 2022 season with a fractured fibula. It seemed like Walker was rostered in a ton of leagues, regardless of Penny playing or not. Somehow he is still available in over 50% of leagues. Now that he is the RB1 for Seattle, Walker immediately shoots to solid flex value, especially in their matchup against Arizona in week 6.

Eno Benjamin (Arizona Cardinals)

Consensus Rostership: 8.4%, Week 6 Matchup: Seattle Seahawks

If you want an absolute bang for your buck on the waiver wire or FAAB this week, go get Eno Benjamin. He is rostered in less than 10% of leagues and will most likely be the RB1 against the Seahawks in week 6, with James Conner and Darrel Williams dealing with injuries. Benjamin ranks top 15 in PFF offense grade and top 10 in PFF run grade and elusiveness rating. Arizona loves this guy and you should too.

WRs

Devin Duvernay (Baltimore Ravens)

Consensus Rostership: 43%, Week 6 Matchup: New York Giants

The Rashod Bateman hype seems to have faded away through the first five weeks of the season. During that time, Duvernay has been the most productive Ravens receiver not named Mark Andrews. Since week 3, Duvernay’s targets of increased every game. My concern with him at first was the solid production on such a low target share. However, after seeing him get 7 targets and play 72% of snaps in week 5, I’m willing to buy in on Duvernay.

Zay Jones (Jacksonville Jaguars)

Consensus Rostership: 30.5%, Week 6 Matchup: Indianapolis Colts

Despite having a pretty lackluster week, Zay Jones still saw 8 targets while playing 80% of offensive snaps. That’s usage you won’t find much of on the waiver wire. Jones is someone you can pickup and stash if you’re running low on WR depth.

TEs

Hayden Hurst (Cincinnati Bengals)

Consensus Rostership: 26.6%, Week 6 Matchup: New Orleans Saints

Hurst seems to have carved out a role for himself in Burrow’s offense. He ranks top 20 in PFF grades for offense and receiving and is 15th in reception percentage. Hurst has been a pretty solid red zone target as well, ranking top 10 in redzone targets, receptions, and touchdowns among all TEs. This offense will find the redzone a lot, which means so will Hayden Hurst. Go grab him.

Taysom Hill (New Orleans Saints)

Consensus Rostership: 20.2%, Week 6 Matchup: Cincinnati Bengals

Is he a QB is he a tight end or his he a running back, who really knows. He is listed as a tight end but is producing RB1 numbers. Whether he will continue this production is yet to be seen, but if you can go get Taysom Hill in your league, why not.
