Every week this season, Fantasy In Frames is going to help you at the quarterback and tight end position by providing you with some of the best favorable matchups of the Week. This week, let’s discuss the favorable QB & TE Matchups for Week 10!
“Duty, honor, country: Those three hallowed words reverently dictate what you ought to be, what you can be, what you will be.” – Douglas MacArthur
Typically, I start this article with a quote about streams. However, the day this article is published is November 11th, Veteran’s Day. I would like to thank all of the veterans and their families for their bravery and sacrifices. If you are reading this then you like fantasy football, and I appreciate it. At the root of it, fantasy football is a silly made-up game, but we love it and I enjoy writing about it. This wouldn’t be possible without soldiers serving our country and fighting for us to keep our freedoms. At the very least, take a moment to reflect on the incredible sacrifices that veterans have made for our country. If you can, donate to one of the so many incredible charities that support veterans and their families, or donate your time to help an organization that supports veterans.
We are coming down the final stretch of regular-season games before the fantasy football playoffs begin. I promise some league-mates have already given up and are not active picking up players and making their roster the best it can be. Do not be one of those people. No matter what your current record is keep playing to win and make every move you need to improve your roster. Even if you are out of playoff contention, now is the time to work on your process and gain experience to help you be better next season. Now let’s talk about quarterbacks and tight ends to pick up and stream this week to help you earn the next win!
How Did We Do?
For the season we have recommended streaming a QB1 45% of the time, and for Week 9 we did okay going 1 for 1 after Tua Tagovailoa was made inactive on Sunday and Taysom Hill was not named the starter earlier in the week.
For the season, we have recommended streaming a TE1 41% and a TE2 64% of the time, and for Week 9 we were 1 for 2 for TE1 with Pat Freiermuth being THE TE1!
Week 10 Bye Week Teams (impacted QBs and TEs): Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals (QB Joe Burrow), Houston Texans, New York Giants
Quarterbacks to Stream – Week 10
Matt Ryan (vs DAL) – 47.8% rostered in ESPN:
Biggest players in this game:
— PFF ATL Falcons (@PFF_Falcons) November 7, 2021
🔥 Matt Ryan: 23-30 for 343 yards, 2 TD
🔥 Cordarelle Patterson: 9 rushes for 10 yards, 6 catches for 126 yards
🔥 Olamide Zaccheaus: 3 catches for 58 yards, 2 TD

Since Week 4, Matt Ryan has been the QB9 in points per game (24.1). He is coming off a great fantasy game against the tough New Orleans Saints defense being the QB3 scoring 32.52 points. Even without a true WR1 on the team right now, while Calvin Ridley is away from the team, Matt Ryan can spread the ball around and move the offense down the field effectively. Matt Ryan is not considered exciting because he does not run, but he has a great matchup against the Dallas Cowboys defense who just allowed Teddy Bridgewater to score almost 24 points (QB7) against them in Dallas.
Teddy Bridgewater (vs PHI) – 27% rostered in ESPN:
Now that was a professional segue. Teddy Bridgewater is not flashy, but he is consistent and has a lot of completions. Jerry Jeudy is healthy and Noah Fant should be back this week, so Bridgewater will have plenty of weapons to carve up the generous Philadelphia Eagles secondary. The Eagles defense is currently on pace to allow the highest completion percentage in NFL history (75.5%)! That accentuates Bridgewater’s style of passing. Bridgewater is never an exciting choice, but he is an easy choice this week with this matchup.
Taysom Hill (@ TEN) – 6.9% rostered in ESPN:
This is a repeat of last week’s article. He was not a streamer last week because he was not named the starter. Trevor Siemian was not as sharp in Week 9 like he was in Week 8. If Hill is named the starter for week 10 then he is a streamer, but he has more value as a cheap pick up this week and a QB that you can play in future weeks without streaming once he is named the started. Taysom Hill is part of the “Konami code QB club” because he is always a threat to score with his legs. In 2020 when Hill started in Weeks 11 through 14, he scored at least 18.5 points, and that was the crazy game versus Denver when they did not really play with a QB due to COVID protocols. If we exclude the Denver game because it was such a weird game script, then Hill averaged 252 passing yards, 55 rushing yards, and 2 total TDs per game. That stat line equates to 27.58 fantasy per game. It is important to note that Michael Thomas is out for the season and Hill highly targeted Thomas in 2020. Low risk and high reward streamers give you an incredible advantage in your league when they hit.
Tight Ends to Stream – Week 10
Tyler Conklin (@ LAC) – 43.6% rostered in ESPN:
Over his last 3 games played, Conklin has seen significant usage for tight ends, and that is the type of opportunity we chase when streaming tight ends. He was 7th in targets (17), 6th in receptions (13), 3rd in yards (173), 10th in routes (82), and 3rd in yards per route run with at least 40 routes (2.11). Conklin has not scored a touchdown since Week 3, but over the last two weeks, he was the TE7. The Los Angeles Chargers defense has been a bad matchup for wide receivers (2nd), but they are a great matchup for tight ends (26th).
Pat Freiermuth (vs DET) – 39.2% rostered in ESPN:
Pat Freiermuth is a beast 😤 pic.twitter.com/TbjQgdq4Wz
— PFF Fantasy Football (@PFF_Fantasy) November 9, 2021
Pat Freiermuth has been on fire and he still isn’t rostered in at least 50% of leagues in ESPN! He finished as the TE1 in Week 9 after being the TE3 in Week 8! Since JuJu Smith-Schuster went on season-ending IR, Freiermuth has at least 6 targets each week. We do not chase touchdowns because they disappear, but Freiermuth has 3 TDs over the last 2 weeks to go with his 6.67 targets per game. The Detroit Lions defense gives up the most points in the league (30.5). You should have listened almost a month ago and already have Freiermuth on your schedule, but if you didn’t then listen now and pick up Freiermuth!
Dan Arnold (@ IND) – 20.5% rostered in ESPN:
Which tight end has the most targets, receptions, and yards over the last 2 weeks? Dan Arnold! He had 14 targets, 12 receptions, and 128 yards from Week 8 and Week 9. He has not scored a touchdown during that span and is still the TE3 (12.4 ppg). Please sign me up for that PPR production! Now imagine if he starts scoring touchdowns, and he had a target in the endzone in Week 9. The Indianapolis Colts are the 5th best matchup for tight ends, giving up 13.5 fantasy points to TEs per week. I want Dan Arnold’s trending opportunities with a good matchup.
