4-Eyed Observations: Week 6

By: Jorge B. Edwards (@JorgeBEdwards)

Here are my “4-Eyed Observations” from this past weekend that might be of interest to you and for your fantasy team’s success going forward!

1) A working time machine has been found in Arizona:
This stadium has resurrected more careers of aging veterans than Marty McFly has repaired the space time continuum. The latest player to travel back in time: Adrian Peterson

134 yards, 5.2 yards per carry (ypc), two touchdowns, and 26.4 fantasy points (fpts). Holy. Crap. If you have him you “might” be in a really good spot going forward this season.
2) Matt Ryan is not playing anywhere close to his MVP performance last season.
This kind of stat line has been the trend for Ryan so far this season. Don’t lost faith just yet. He has a REALLY favorable fantasy playoff schedule this year, and if you’re able to weather the storm you might be in good shape down the road.
3) I was semi-joking a few weeks back in regards to Ben Roethlisberger retirement talk, but now I’m full on board. This guy is PLAYING like he DOESN’T have it anymore.
Fortunately, his primary skill players aren’t suffering as a result. However, for the managers still starting “Big Ben” …. just stop and look elsewhere.
4) Evan Engram

82 yards and one touchdown last night versus Denver’s defense = Amazing

To those managers who have Engram (cough….humble brag….cough cough) you should be very happy going forward knowing you have the Giants NEW TOP RECEIVING OPTION…..until something else goes wrong.

Those are my 4-Eyed Observations From Week 6!
