Today, in our 2024 Rookie Profile series, we’ll discuss Running Back Trey Benson!
Player Overview
Trey Benson is a player that I am very excited about. He is a nice-sized running running back with some great speed. Coming out of Florida State after spending two years in Oregon where he barely saw the field. On paper, this running back class isn’t the greatest but things can change depending on the landing spots, and I think Trey Benson landed in a great landing spot with round 3 draft capital to the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals have the potential to be a great offense. James Conner is in the last year of his contract so Benson has a great opportunity to become the lead back in a Kyler Murray offense.
Rookie Summary
Benson will make a great pro at the NFL level and has the potential to be a three-down back. You have to love a running back that does not have a history of putting the ball on the ground. I love his size and speed as well. The landing spot is outstanding for him as well. He is running in a great offense where he has the path of becoming the lead back. I have been trying to get Trey Benson in every league I can he will be a great fantasy earner for your fantasy teams.
