The Baltimore Ravens are expected to rely heavily on their running game, especially with the addition of Derrick Henry in 2024. Despite being 30 years old and entering his ninth season, Henry continues to perform at a high level. Last year, in 2023 he carried the football 280 times, the most in the league. It’s not the first time he has achieved this, as he also led in carries in 2019 and 2020. Derrick Henry seems undervalued, as we are still early in the fantasy draft season. FantasyPros currently ranks him as the RB12 in PPR. One downside in PPR is his limited involvement in the passing game, as he has never caught more than 33 balls in a single season. However, he compensates for this with his ground production and red zone opportunities for touchdowns. In the previous season, Gus Edwards led the league in carries inside the five-yard line under Todd Monken, with 23 carries. If Derrick Henry is now going to receive these touches, he has the chance to lead the league in rushing touchdowns.
