2024 Redraft Target: Dallas Goedert

2024 Redraft Target Dallas Goedert | Fantasy In Frames

What’s up y’all!? I’m Colby Conway, and you can find me on X at @colbyrconway. I have been writing/creating fantasy sports content since 2014, and today we are focusing on Philadelphia Eagles tight end and 2024 Redraft Target Dallas Goedert.

For many, Goedert is likely one of the last tight ends you feel somewhat comfortable about for 2024, but there’s a strong argument to be made that you can rely on him as your starting tight end on a weekly basis this season. Let’s dive into why Dallas Goedert is a solid target in fantasy football drafts this year, especially if you are waiting at the tight end spot.

Goedert may not be the flashiest pick at the position, but all fantasy points are scored the same at the end of the day. Once you get outside the top ten or so players at the tight end position, it gets dicey, and once you get past Goedert in drafts, the statistical drop-off is quite steep. While Goedert is an excellent backup tight end this season, especially with his safety and consistency, there’s plenty of optimism for him to ascend in an offensive scheme that values the tight end, especially where it matters most. If you miss out on some of the bigger names at the position in the earlier rounds, Goedert should be your preferred target of tight ends outside the top 10 that can make the jump to the mid-tier TE1 range.
