2024 Redraft Target: Chase Brown
What’s up y’all!? I’m Colby Conway, and you can find me on X at @colbyrconway. I have been writing/creating fantasy sports content since 2014, and I’m excited to highlight another running back that you should prioritize on draft day.
Cincinnati running back Chase Brown is way too cheap in drafts, and despite all the glowing reports from camp, he’s still not being drafted as the lead back for a Joe Burrow-led offense.
2024 Redraft Target Chase Brown is an explosive young talent ready to ascend in his second NFL campaign, and we’ll highlight why he should be a priority on draft day.
Zack Moss is a fine NFL running back, but he cannot add the juice or be a difference maker like Brown can be in this offense. Brown can catch the football, which Joe Burrow will come to love, and if the Cincy O-line struggles, screen passes to Brown can serve as an extension of the ground game, and Brown can thrive there. Please don’t buy into the notion that he can’t handle a full workload because he can. He did it in college and excelled in such a role. I doubt Brown ever gets to bell-cow status with Zack Moss in the mix, but Brown is the 1A of this backfield, though he’s currently being drafted as the No. 2 back, which is a mistake. Chase Brown is the running back in Cincinnati you want to draft this season, and he’ll flirt with RB2 level production in 2024.
