Estimated reading time: 3 minutes
Player Overview
If you don’t know, Rashod Bateman is a WR for the Baltimore Ravens, the 27th overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft. Before being drafted by Baltimore, he was busy at the University of Minnesota, putting up a 40% college dominator rating and an 18.8 elite breakout age, two metrics that have been solid indicators of a player being able to translate at the next level.
Fantasy Summary
According to DLF June Dynasty Startup ADP, Rashod Bateman is currently being valued as the WR39, and I’ve got him as my WR27, just outside of WR2 status in dynasty startup drafts. His ADP puts him behind his teammate Zay Flowers that I’ve already discussed, as well as players such as DeAndre Hopkins, Keenan Allen, and George Pickens, all of which I would prefer Rashod Bateman.
If your 2023 rookie draft has yet to take place and you’re sitting on a first-round pick that’s at the 1.09 or later in superflex or 1.05 or later in 1QB dynasty leagues, I would send those first-round rookie picks for Rashod Bateman in a heartbeat. Still, based on his current value I don’t even think it would take that much to get the deal done. Based on the current market, I think you could send a 2nd round pick + a WR on your bench for Bateman and get the deal done.
